I was accused of breaking NDA, and seeing as it's still happening months after I've been removed from the council, it clearly isn't and wasn't me.
Not to mention the "proof" against me was just a series of incorrect assumptions.

You act like this is new. Nexon has banned people off of incorrect charges and blatant assumptions for years. And we all know how willing Nexon is to admit they were wrong.

I found the thread, just kinda going off of Artasi's comment:

of course i thought it was silly to go and work for free for nex. now they have trashed your name publically

but when they say you can't say anything etc, pretty sure that is against the law. NDA cannot extend to cover everything as artasi is saying. they are not like an intelligence agency, they only have what is covered in contract law etc. only stuff which is of confidential nature. otherwise, impinging on your rights

besides, in the law it is acceptable to break confidences to counter wrongful accusations. it is acceptable to reveal evidence you were wrongly accused etc
having made you sign an NDA does not give them the right to trash your name and say you cannot reply because its a secret.

Obviously if a breach of this NDA was ever brought to a court they would laugh it off (unless nexon can prove loss of money... which they can't).

That also means it works both ways -- a councilor can't go to a court and whine about their account being banned. I'd still like to keep my account more than I'd like to give out information about this/my situation. If that ever changes, however, you can be sure I'll talk about everything I know.

now i would say it was a very bad decision to get involved. nothing good could have come of it. if nothing goes wrong you lose a lot of time and just get frustrated since your feedback is ignored since they are just a translation service. if things go bad, account etc.

or you should have made a mule account and said that was your main.

if any secrets were revealed they could sue for losses - there are ways to calculate losses for leaks etc. but obviously they have to prove you leaked which as you say they cannot. anyhoo i already belive your innocence so no need to share info for me.

i suppose best for you to ditch the nex forums since they probably would be dissing you and it got you into this mess in the first place. writing on their forums is always a dicey affair, since everything is linked to your account. obviously i take care to never ever write negative things on their website. i always feel i have to bite my toungue when i am there, not really good place to give honest feedback, plus they probably read the fansites more than their own forum. when i was there i think you were a regular, but best to ditch them

Strictly speaking, this proves nothing since there could be multiple leaks (not that I think you did anything).

It does show the idiocy of this whole affair and Nexon's usual ineptitude. It's not like it would be hard to leak details anonymously. The fact that nothing of any real interest was leaked does make this rather amusing to watch since I'm no longer invested in the game itself.

Boggy decided to change the layout of the site despite a large majority of users saying it looked gross.

That being said, because of the changes, chatchief is getting a lot more attention.

Speaking of BM, the only reason why I go on that website is for the nice art some people draw here and there, now it's fucking dead.

He finally got the following reply:

Today we have finalized a new iteration of an Organizational Strategy for the Maple Leaf Council. From this point onward, we have reduced the number of Councillors to within the guidelines of our expected Organizational changes for next year's session.

As such, and unfortunately, we have removed a number of players from the Maple Leaf Council, and we have reassigned our Leadership Team to focus on organizing and positioning the Council for future success with positive changes being implemented into MapleStory, which we hope to be able to share soon.

To me it seems like he just choose the niggers who stream and are popular and know jack pomegranate for the most part.
Also some of them are probably people who wouldn't be "suspicious" idek.
