They have, with the same promise it will be much easier to tier up.

It's not you. I swear some items are just rigged to give bad stats. 18/20 cubes used on this and all of them had nearly the exact same potential. Highest % stat I got on it so far is 3

I've had a lot of success ranking up my gear's pot with cubes lately (mostly the free ones). I even got my shield to legendary! But... two 15% dex on my tyrant belt in a row that one time really hurt.

Apparently they're really intractable.
Two years of dedicated hard work and the Auction House still occasionally glitches and eats up items and meso.

Pretty much, I have yet to hear any of my friends report anything about losing money/equips/etc from auction, the only thing I've heard in the last 6 months is that one of my friends lost 3b but that was thanks to a meso market glitch (Which is now linked to the auction in order to access it, but it's a separate system pretty much), I have used auction a lot and no issues, It even stored some items for 4 months (probably more, I am lazy) perfectly fine.
And another friend sold like 90 USD worth of cubes on auction (28m per cube or so) and got all her money from, besides tax obviously which is 5%, along with NX and etc.
Basically it works fine.
I am sure it did eat someones stuff at one point but that was ages ago, never heard about such thing since then.

Yeah I haven't heard of any issues with the Auction House from any friends/guildies since it came out. I hope you guys get it soon, it's a great way to just buy/sell random etc. and use items in bulk. It's also pretty good for finding clean equipment with good potential/additional options.
