Hot Time: 12/20 and 12/21

Ehh, I'd wager a lot of players don't care for epic pot (Free Market) or hair coupons. The rest is definitely useful, though. It seems all my luck has transferred to Brave Frontier, so I'll probably get epic pots on both days :/

Eh. They are both still useful, I love epic pots because i'm dirt poor and don't know how to make money in the shitty economy this game has, and the hair coupons are nice for people who don't buy NX, especially with the new salon system.

All the items are useful, even if some people don't care for them.

Given the numerous DDoS attacks Nexon has been receiving (and publicising to us), I'm not sure why they haven't learnt that a 1-minute DDoS attack is all it needs to ruin this event, or anything remotely close to a surge of player activity.

And it's the weekend before Christmas.

People are busy. They have parties/gatherings/travels/etc...

They're probably doing these two Hot Time to try to boost their concurrent user count (GMS' record is 136,000).

1) It's Christmas break for pretty much everyone.
2) They just had an event to try to boost their user count (the Maple Points thing).
3) They probably saw a lot more players playing than normal these past two months.
4) Generate some positive press about how many players we have! (If this Hot Time is a success)
5) Profit! Even more players.

EDIT: Darn, I missed it. I was in Star Planet and was in the middle of a game of Yut and completely forgot about it.

I don't think they'll meet any user count targets today. Only 3 other guildies and 4 buddies on.

Don't know if anyone else had this problem but I wasn't even able to log in until literally 2:32.
I was trying to get in through the game launcher but it kept telling me my password was wrong. Then I
resorted to the website, but that was telling me the same thing. I thought my account might've been hacked
but I guess not. I'm kinda mad to say the least. :/

It might have something to do with all the people trying to relog very quickly to get the rewards on multiple accounts.

Got 2 hair coupons and an epic pot scroll. All expire in a month.

On the plus side, the servers didn't even stutter this time. Maybe Nexon finally got their network fixed?

I guess I got lucky with a Unique Pot Scroll (30-day time limit). Guess it's time to scroll up some CRA armor. Still kinda miffed about pally nerfs, but I still wreck face at most bosses.
