To celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, MapleStory will be having 2x EXP & Drop this weekend as well as Double Miracle Time on Saturday!

Celebrate the weekend with double the fun. Level up and power through the weekend with 2x EXP & Drop!

This event will stack with 2x EXP Coupons and 2x Drop Coupons, so you could earn 4x EXP and 4x Drop during the posted times!

And if you've been searching for ways to boost your power, you’re in luck! This Saturday is all about making you stronger through the mysterious power of Potential. Potential is a nifty system that allows you to add bonus effects to your equipment to make it truly heroic.

Cube away from 12:00 AM - 1:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM during the Double Miracle Time Event with double the rates of a rank up! There’s a chance to raise your equipment's Potential rank TWICE with one cube! This means you could jump from Rare to Unique!

That is nice. Even nicer for those of us in non-American timezones, who should have their 2x with even less lag than usual.

However, the first Miracle Time starts at midnight, which is exactly when the cubes go on sale.
Cash Shop is going to laaaaag baaaaad as everyone rushes to get cheap cubes ASAP to not lose cubing time.

On the other hand I suppose Cash Shop is always busy during Miracle Time, as people run out of cubes and get tempted to buy more. So maybe after the first 10 minutes or so it won't be worse than usual.

Don't know but it feels like it is 1.1x for some 10x for others. On Khaini there were a couple of people getting several Double time blessing announcements per minute, so either they have very fast fingers and very fat wallets, or there is something fishy going on.

Apparently there was a bug that caused some people to get the Double Time Blessing without their item ranking up at all.
Furthermore, at least some of them got it with every cube they used on the same item.

I've heard this happens because the bonus pot tier is higher than the reg pot tier, but that can't explain all the cases.

We had 2 double miracle times this past week and the cubes discounts were craaazzyy, unfortunately I was working during the 2 time slots but several people i've talked to in-game either reported that they didnt rank up anything at all(they were using super miracle and red cubes), while others said they managed to rank up a few items within 1 ~ 10 cubes(they were using black cubes). There are several more expensive cubes that i dont think anyone would buy so im not sure about those, but it seems like black cubes gives the best results during miracle time.

3 red cube packs got me 2 unique -> legendary (tyrant cape and belt)
A black cube pack and nothing on my 15% STR badge

Just RNG I guess.


4 bonus pot packs got me 2 unique -> legendary (katana and emblem) and sup pendant to unique, just 11 att for now.

It has come to our attention that during last weekend’s Double Miracle Time event, some users encountered a bug in which incorrect notification messages appeared on screen. These messages informed the player they had leveled up their Potential and Bonus Potential, even when this was not the case. We want to clarify that users who encountered this bug did not miss out on any increase to Potential or Bonus Potential rank- the message appeared in error. We apologize for the confusion and want to assure you that we are aware of the issue and are working to fix the issue for future Double Miracle Time events. As always, we appreciate your feedback.
