What will be unavailable:

• All MapleStory game servers.
  

Changes and Updates:

• We will be reconfiguring some of the channel server hardware to improve performance.
  

We will be holding a scheduled maintenance on Thursday of this week to apply fixes for various issues. This maintenance is specifically being help to roll out changes to our servers.

So I am lost. Where is this "improved performance" in game? It seems the same and maybe even a little worse even. I am not saying this as I am surprised, just wondering if it did improve something in some other area of the game that maybe I do not participate in.

It seemed worse for me as well for the hour I was on. Game briefly freezes every time I kill mobs.
