v.154 – Sword Art Online Update Notes

I am running out of words for Mr Lee's place. This is... like MPE for low levels. I'm level 45 and I've yet to go for 2nd job advancement.

There's a slight bug when CCing after leaving the SAO dungeon. When you CC after leaving it, you go back to the dungeon entrance.

If you want to grind, do NOT take any of the completed vehicles off Mr Lee's island. The Nependeaths give the best EXP, and you can always in-out of maps to keep randomly enter the map.

Damn I shouldn't have taken the vehicle.

What does the Beauty Salon Tutorial quest give you? I can only do the quest on one character so I'm not sure which character I want to use yet, heh.

It says that, but you can actually accept it on as many characters as you want. For females it gives you the Cecilia Twist hair (a REG hair) and Hypnotized Look (a REG face). For males you get the Buzz hair and Cool Guy Gaze.

1 castaway Wolf/nependeath thingy/any of the bosses on my lvl 201 mob = 1.2M. The nependeath map has >10 of those mobs, while the wolf always has 6.

This is crazy. I'm going to remake my BW and grind here.

Dear Nexon,

Thank you for allowing existing Blaze Wizards to collect all the event boxes for prior level milestones. Now we don't have to remake our BWs just to get the stuff.

Sincerely,
Thorr

SOrry for the double post, but OMFG. THis event is RIDICULOUSLY high exp. All I am doing is trying to find a way out and I have gained 15 levels in under 10 minutes (71-87 sofar). I don;t even know what I am supposed to do in here and it's incredibly lucrative.

I this a one shot deal? Do you only get to do this once?

Looks like it is a one shot deal. I finished it on my Blaze Wizard and now I can't get back there. Talking to the NPC in the event hall does nothing, and there is no quest to get back there.

Going by the patch notes, you only get to do it once.
But there is no time limit. (I am not sure what happens if you disconnect).
As for what you're supposed to do: kill things, loot drops, and do quests. It almost never matters which portal you go through, you'll end up on a random map. So if you're looking for specific monsters or a specific map, just stand on a portal and keep pressing "up" until you're where you want to be.
You can turn in the quests to fix escape craft, but don't use the fixed craft to get off the island, until you are certain you're done with it.

Also, small tip: when you turn in the quest to fix a craft, it takes away the entire quantity you have of whatever materials that repair required. So, for example, if you have 40 cables, and the quest needs 10, it will still take away all 40. Which sucks if you also need cables to repair another craft. However, the good news is that all the items are tradeable, which means you can drop the excess before turning in the quest, and then pick it back up.

Does the Beauty Salon thing allow you to switch eye colors too?

If you have white eyes on Look A and hazel eyes in Look B, would your eyes be able to alternate between Hazel and White?

Yes, I have White eyes on my normal look and Green eyes on the Leafa look and I can switch between them.

I'm not sure if this is a special case though, since the Asuna and Leafa faces have pre-set eye colours.

It says that if you die or DC then all your progress disappears 'as if it was a dream'. It seems to indicate that all gains you get in there are rolled back. I'll test that on some mule.

So if I hear you correctly, I can fix the vehicles and stay in the area? (As in, it's a separate thing to fix them than it is to use them.)

It seems like you shoul dbe able to go in more than once, just because fo that Beasts quest. It's a high amount of kills for such rare mobs to do all in one sitting.

Yes. After you fix one, you get to choose whether to use it to escape the island, or continue to explore. You can also "End Chat" at that point if you'd rather. The vehicle will stay fixed, so you can use it later if you want to.

>Make blaze wizard
>Level it to 13
>Go to Mr.Lee's island via the star icon
>Level to 30 retarded fast
>Log out and back in
>Do your job advance
>Go to event hall and go back to Mr.Lee's island

>Rinse and repeat as necessary.

You can go to the island as many times as you want, just log out if you want to leave (Or Die) and go back to the island via event hall. This has got to be a glitch though, I just leveled my BW to 100 in less than an hour. (On regular exp rates... >_>)

Wait, I thought it was a one-time thing? So you can log out or die to leave and then go back, as long as you don't complete the thing? I was reading over this and now I'm thinking of making one now that I know I can do my job advancement. Can someone tell me how good the EXP is for 150+ or even 190+? Doesn't hurt to ask.

I dont know about 150s through the rest of the way to 200 but each mob at 200+ gives 1.1mil exp about.

I fully expect an Unscheduled Server Maintenance soon, to block off Mr. Lee's thing, or heavily nerf it some way. This is quite absurd, especially the bit about being able to leave and come back.

The exp above 200 is nice but not insane, so maybe they won't mind people "finishing" their BWs in a couple of hours, but maybe they will hand out punishments for "abusing" this system they didn't think through. Use at your own risk.
