How was your day today? - DotA 2 Edition

What's the point of getting 4-5 minute midas if your team feeds enough that you can't get ahead with it? It's almost like I'd need 2 midas to make up for it lol
Life Stealer is one of the only carries I can get perfect cs with and I thought it'd be easy daily challenge but nope.

EDIT: Finally, after 3 failed attempts got Life Stealer done. Games were aall bad but at least I got two player card packs and only 1 repeated card

Getting back into the game. Still need to do my 10 hero challenge. I'm surprised my Morphling game went better than expected went traditional carry items like Manta/Linkens and finished Butterfly right before we won. Clinkz was bad; took 3 games to finish. Bristleback game was balling as I turned raid boss mode. Crystal Maiden game was pure suffering. Fed hard trying to babysit Meepo in offlane and was so poor the whole time.

Bots really need an update. I like how bots now buy better items and pomegranate but line ups are still bad, they still go 1 vs 5 and some bots look like the are stuck pacing from one point to the other without doing anything until 10-15 minutes when everyone groups up... and even then some do the same during teamfights until they die. I like practicing last hits in those games because I get harassed and denied better, compared to actual people... but in bot games I can always catch up because of that I mentioned above.

Me and some friends went ranked and picked a push line-up
We lost our lanes early on and then i got level 6 and we just began pushing with dragon form.
The push never ended and won the game at 15 minutes, took another 5 to finish it because of pudge hooks.

I swear matchmaking is screwed up because I got games where I died less then 4-5 times while destroying the enemy team so hard. I went 13-3-21 as Zeus, outcarried a 6-slotted Void as a 5-slotted Spectre (needed room for Aegis), and even went 1-1-22 as Dazzle and saved the PA and Storm so many times:

I unintentionally found a hilarious combo with Sven and Beastmaster. We had to off-lane against a QoP and Gyro and got harassed a lot at first, but then things epically turned around once we did stuff like Beastmaster shouts and then I Storm Fist. They exploded like balloons and we kept doing it and fed us until their 2 towers fell. The offlane combo shouldn't have worked, but it amazingly did.

Playing Wisp makes me cry at how useless I am; I unintentionally caused our QoP to give first blood to a mid Bristle and it snowballed into a very shi'tty game. I guess this is one of the few heroes I should really play some bot matches before I play with players.

In other note [MENTION=8396]Raul[/MENTION] I can see why Timber is such a favorite of yours. Freaking manmodes so hard and fun as hell.

Why are my games so bad? Medusa who couldn't carry in a 55 game, enemy focused on whoever was near them despite me using Shallow Grave on that person while my team (that was also terrible) killed them because they didn't hit anyone else. No one stopped me from healing and using grave except once when Lina used Euls on me... ONCE. Not to mention that LC practically farmed the jungle the whole game and if Medusa wasn't so bad we would've lost... eugh.

Meh... at least Viper was cool about the times I saved him and thankful that at least I tried even when there was no hope for him.

Hero of the Day: Troll Warlord

Lost terribly first game. Got harassed by PA and Kunkka to high hell and fed too much. 2nd game I fed too much as well from Shadow Shaman/Centaur wombo combo, but they were dumb enough to ignore me after a while and I solo pushed their towers and ult-ed when my team fought so we eventually won. Also helped Rosh for Mirana and PA who were far more helpful than I was. It's kinda sad when I can feed the enemy 1/3 of their total kills and they still lose. Such a bad day for me to DoTA when I feed this hard.

Hero of the Day: Witch Doctor

Oh god had to do 2 games again. Slark got first blood and balled out of control, allowing everyone else on his team to get farm. Long and agonizing defeat. 2nd game I encountered the exact same Troll Warlord from last game. This time the tables turned so much. Invoker/Puck both fought for mid, it was hilarious to see. Such trench tiering. DK was bot all by himself so naturally he died. Ended game by ~21 minutes.

4 stacks suck.

Got lich as my daily hero and won ez, then lost 2 games in a row. zzzz

What is this? I did nothing but mismicro the whole game and it's still high skill. Where do they get it?

Also i had to give up on zeus as my daily hero, he used to be one of my best heroes but 5 losses in a row X_X

Last hitting with Mirana is a nightmare. I was tricked into thinking that I'd be support so I bought wards and courier and then was sent mid... instead of a Bloodseeker that just went jungle. I had tangos and one or two branches... how was I supposed to get farmed?

Sorry there has been a LOT of stuff going on around here.
And I had to use the money I got from selling my PC, good thing is I have a new job and I'll be gettin a new computer in a couple of months. The only thing that's in my mind regarding this is; since I'm going to be traveling and being out of my house I think I'm going for a gaming laptop.
I was thinking about an Asus ROG or maybe a MSi one. I'm new on this matter, so I could use some advice on this, I think I can drop up to $1,500 usd on this.

Ok, I'm certain now that something's going on with match making because the quality of my games is just beyond s'hit. I'm constantly playing with griefers that just feed or new players, literally... the other day I gave advice to a WR and they asked me to "take it easy" because it was someone new to the game. It has been two weeks already and I thought "hmm maybe it's just that I'm more aware of people's mistakes" but no, playing with Adam this weekend was insufferable... yesterday we won 3 games, all of them because the other team sucked and they ended up feeding kills and couriers. Today we lost 2 games for basically the same reason, feeders on our team.

Last time I had a quality game, that was balanced, that everyone knew what they were doing was 3 weeks ago. There was another game last week that Adam said was really good but I didn't quite feel that way because it really wasn't that good and it only looked like it because the other team f'ucked up their safelane.

Now, I'm not entirely sure but I think parties just ruin games if the difference between players is that big... a new player should be playing with other new players until he gets the hang of stuff. 10 hero/ daily hero / favorite hero challenge needs to change and make it something like "win or play X amounts of game with this hero" so that people are done with it quick regardless of winning with it or not... that way they stop going into games and picking and damn hero they are clueless with over and over and over and over again. I don't expect all my games to be "good" but god damn it I'm tired of stomping or being stomped in every single game.

Amazing

Randomed Tinker, did decently well and got 11min Boots of Travel (after bottle and soulring). Still lost to a storm spirit that farmed a bloodstone in like 10mins... 12 charges at like 15minutes. Offlaner who let storm snowball that hard blames everyone at the end when it was mostly her fault and some earth shaker who wanted to gank (instead of push) and wasted a lot of our time doing so.
