Known Issues: Updated August 6, 2015

Since it wasted me so many wheels already, I think it might be some weird glitch.
Anyways, when a knight dies and Cygnus comes out from her sleeping state, you can sometimes instantly die, as if there was an invisible Dark Genesis attack that was cast at that moment.

Yep this is true. Happened since the patch where we have kms's Cygnus. Its somewhat more like death from DR than Dark Genesis imo. I dont know if this work for someone else but, what I do is after I kill the v1/v2 knights, I stay far away from Cygnus for a bit. Didn't have this problem since.

Gameplay and Functionality:

• NPC Cloy does not sell the AP Reset Scroll as mentioned by NPC Mar the Fairy.
  
• NPC Amos the Strong will not allow players to access the Amoria PQ.
  
• The White Mage Snowfield Permanent Mount Coupon is not giving out a permanent White Mage Mount.
  
• The 9th Anniversary White Buckle is not able to be moved within the account.
  
• The Kanna skill “Vanquisher’s Charm” will disconnect players if it is activated when standing too close to the intended target.
  
• Mu Lung Dojo rankings are not resetting daily.
  
• The Leafre Crusader Codex does not give 30\% Ignore DEF.
  
• The quest “Yuris’ Sudden Craving” is unable to be completed due to a missing NPC.
  
• Attempting to access the Beast Tamer quest “A Guardian’s Blessings” will incorrectly open Maple Chat.
  
• The ‘My Info’ hotkey incorrectly opens the Episode Book.
  
• The ‘Episode’ hotkey does not function.
  
• The NPC Promessa in the map Veritas has the option to send players to Kritias, which will cause the client to crash if selected.
  
• The client will occasionally disconnect to the login screen when a Kanna character has Haku cast a buff spell in a Boss room.
  
• Hayatos and Zeros are unable to use the arrow keys command to activate their Soul Weapon skill. (Please note: This skill can still be used if assigned to a hotkey. The skill will appear in the ‘Basics’ tab of the skill window)
  
• Players will incorrectly be sent to the Evolution Lab when attempting to enter Root Abyss from the map ‘Merchant Union Dock’ in San Commerci.
  
• The ‘Spirit of Rock’ will not spawn if players enter the map ‘7th Floor 8th Floor Area D’ while in a party.
  
• The Hayato skill ‘Surging Blade’ is not able to change direction mid-combo.
  
• Zero characters do not receive the quest ‘Road to Treglow’.
  
• Players will not receive indication of a matchmaking failure if their opponent exits or disconnects when attempting to join Boss Arena.
  
• The Buccaneer skill ‘Octopunch Outrage’ is not dealing proper damage when using ‘Energy Charge’ with the hyper skills ‘Octopunch - Boss Rush’ and ‘Octopunch - Reinforce’.
  
• Some players are receiving “Error Code: 11004”, and having their client crash, when attempting to access the game using the Web launcher. (Note: A work around for this is to launch the game using C:NexonMapleStoryGameLauncher.exe)
  
• Hayato characters receive the quest ‘Statue of Dread’ to start the Zakum PQ from the incorrect NPC (Robeira, instead of Tylus).
  
• Beast Tamers incorrectly receive 8 AP to STR and 1 AP to DEX instead of 9 AP to INT during the tutorial
  
• Expired Event Monsters and NPCs are present in the World Map lists.
  
• Multiple players are reporting being unable to receive the final stamp for the December Fun Attendance Event.
  
• The crystal to summon the third phase of the Horntail boss fight has a chance to not appear when participating in the expedition.
  
• Normal Mode and Madman Ranmaru are not dropping items when defeated.
  
• Monsters in ‘Fight for Azwan’ will occasionally become unable to be killed.
  
• Defeating Gollux on any difficulty will result in the same rewards.
  
• The ‘Sea of Fog’ Party Quest is unable to be started.
  
• Days do not reset for the Scared in the Dark medal after skipping a day and abandoning quest then restarting the quest.
  
• [Silent Crusade] The Silent Crusade Set in the Crusade Codex is no longer correct.
  
• Several players are unable to progress further in the Lion King's Castle quest line due to partial completion of the quest line before the revamp
  
• [Silent Crusade] The Coco card can't be obtained.
  
• Portals in Malaysia Trend Zone Metropolis should have a pop-up.
  
• [Dragon Rider] Dragonoir uses the Damage Reflect skill.
  
• [Guide System] The “Help a Whale Out” quest does not appear in the Guide System during the Cannoneer quest

• NPC Heracles incorrectly states that you need 1,000,000 mesos to start a guild instead of 5,000,000 mesos.

• The description for Pet Skill “Pick Up Leftover Item & Meso Skills” does not match in-game functionality.

• [Luminous] The first text bubble that appears over Luminous's head after the Black Mage fight in the tutorial is reversed.
  
• After defeating Horntail, the speech bubbles of the two Black Mage NPCs overlap each other.

Huh. Yuri's Sudden Craving is Ellin Forest, right? I did it a few days ago just fine. They made a replica map of the old room she used to be in before all of the PQ maps got merged, so she's back to being in Ellin Forest when you do that quest. The only thing missing is an icon on the World Map for it, like there used to be.

Woah i missed that. That's a pretty big deal...at least it affects everybody though so it'll be awesome when it's fixed.

As far as I can remember APQ was never truly 100% bug free. Something was always glitchy somewhere. Poor thing was probably coded badly or something.

Leafre Set isn't giving 30% Ignore? What is it giving then? My % Ignore goes from 88% to 82% when I switch to a different set so clearly it's still giving some amount of % Ignore.

A little while ago, it'd go from 0% to 30% when I equipped it with no other sources of ignore DEF, so I'm guessing either it's not really broken, or it's broken and the display is wrong.

It could easily be being calculated in the screen display without actually applying to your damage. We've seen many things like that happen. (Remember when Final Attacks would show damage on screen but not do any damage to a monster?)

Side note - If you equipped 30% Ignore without NO other sources of ignore, it SHOULD show 30%.

Also: being Kanna is suffering yet again. Blah blah blah. They made the most minor of changes to the class and they broke it all over again, just like I knew they would.

For the Leafre Codex bug: I saw someone mention that it might be working as intended, just that some people who didn't know otherwise saw it add a small amount due to the UI showing the multiplicative total instead of additive, and reported it as a bug.

Oh, I just realized Ellin isn't in the Party Quest area anymore. I'm guessing that was what the "Known Issues" list was referring to. Is this intentional? For Cross World PQ NPCs to be missing from the Party Quest area?

I could see this making sense for whatever the current Cross World PQ is, that way people have a reason to do the Cross World version, instead of the regular one; but from what I can see there are at least 3 PQ NPCs missing from the Party Quest map (the Rice Cake, Kerning PQ, and Ellin PQ NPCs).

i think this is a retro-cop-out; much like the "Commerci Drop Rate Event". The Dev team clearly made a change to dojo, albeit unintended, but really never felt much like a bug/glitch. it was unannounced, that's it. and GMS complain so thoroughly that nexon can't just say "opps on purpose sorry deal with it"
