Global Maplestory 9th Aniversary discussion

hey guys im making a thread to talk about the upcoming 9th anniversary for gms!

this update will be same/very simmilar to kms's 10th anniversary, but nexon could do a little twist!!!

and for those of you who don't know the update is coming on april 30

Oh cool, I didn't know when it was.
I can't even remember what last years events were, it was just the standard boxes and leaves dropping right?

I hope they do something different this year, i'm sick of the events each year just being the same as the last, like the easter events or the christmas events which never change.

Yea last year was kinda boring imo.
The shop had some decent stuff tho.

I think we're gonna get an Asian-themed Anniversary in conjunction with parts of KMS' 10th Anniversary.

I'm looking forward to a set of event armor for my newbie. =]

I miss cheap 20% slates. This 100 coins for 10% garbage needs to stop.

I miss coin shops with actual farmable coins, none of that "well maybe if you win the RNG lotto you'll have 5 coins today, plus 10 if you grind RNG box drops too"

If coins are as easy to get as the spring bunny coins have been that would be really nice imo.

welllllll, when an anniversary event happens maple leafs drop from mobs and you can turn in leafs for coins

so technically you can farm coins from mobs !

Maybe they'll give us the ability to hotkey boxes early... (Yeah right. )

Still, if drop rate is anything like black friday coins, I'd gladly click thousands of boxes instead. :/ Spring coins aren't that bad since they aren't limited to 20 coins/day by boxes, like every event before.
Why not have both though? RNG boxes and dropped coins, and obviously 100 leaves per coin.

Can you test if Perfect Inno's reset tradability if your able to?

Reinstalled the game and took a look around. pomegranate looks too complicated. I think i'll wait for MapleStory 2.
