Out of the thousands of players unbanned in this amnesty, less than 2\% reoffended, while the others were converted into positive players.

in other words they removed their items to another account and never played again

I had about 6 accounts unbanned via live chat before this announcement. Then I stopped being able to get a hold of them on live chat as if they stopped doing them on there and directed you to the tickets. Sent in 5 tickets, every single one denied. Seems like they're tired of unbanning and making it seem like they're continuing it but instead going back to the way it was before. I bet it had to do with me answering the required question of whether NX had ever been charged on the account as "No" on all of them.

None of my accounts that were banned actually had any value to me, they were mainly just to see how easy it was to get them unbanned and the reasons they gave. It's sad that 1 of the 2 accounts that weren't unbanned via live chat, was an account that was wrongly banned during one of those past exploits. A time when I didn't even play the game anymore. Most likely was stolen and hacked on like a number of my other accounts I reactivated that had random 14x+ mages on them in other worlds.

It's kinda sad but I think most of YMCK hackers were already unbanned from the first one, so this second one isnt gonna do much more damage to us personally >_>

Well considering you also have to include the account ID, perhaps its a way to check if the person recovering the account is the person who owned it prior to being banned? That's the only 'positive' explanation I can offer but the cynical part of me feels like you hit the nail on the head with that observation.

Or maybe they asked the question out of pure curiosity. As in "how many people are we un-banning who've bought NX for us before we banned them so that we know for the future to unban more people if it's a high percentage? We'll take the word of the people we banned based on these answers before even bothering to check the NX-bought statistics for those people ourselves".

Don't expect logical reasoning from Nexon...ever.

OT: I guess Nexon leaves no stone left uncovered. But their job isn't done yet since there's more hackers left to unban (so I hear on basil). Do your duty Nexon and unban everyone. Maybe Ech0 or whatever the hell his name was will buy some NX if you unban him too.

I was thinking of potentially joining MS2 when it comes, but not after this latest debacle.

I asked him what he got banned for, he claims it had something to do with what is considered a glitch abuse involving Empress runs.

I'm pretty sure they ask you for the ID because some account you can't log into to file a ticket, I did this and they told me I was getting unbanned but the account hasn't been unbanned yet even though it has been longer then 24 hours now. Not a big deal.

It's also the same GM that posted that pic from basil, GM Tanyril. I'm thinking that GM isn't even reading the descriptions because i even got the same message that person did and it was less than 3mins I got the email.

It's not like he's gonna admit that he or his brother (who played LACounty at the time, and that character is still banned and/or deleted) were d/cing people back in empress (before it was made a private channel)

Seems like Nexon and players have differing thoughts on what a "better" Maple is.

Nexon: More players, more possible nx, therefore better.

I was about to give Maplestory a second chance and play it casually again. But gross. Never mind.

Right now, Nexon sort of sounds like that one pathetic, desperate ex-girlfriend you dumped but she's still begging for you back.
