Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion
Razmos Wrote:I'm quite excited to play as him too. I LOVED Tifa in Dissidia: Final Fantasy. the combo cancelling and dodging looks very similar to the way Little Mac fights.

i didn't like tifa as much, but that's mainly because i mained onion knight, who if he got a block on you meant an instant counter back your way.

Ugh.

I just saw this picture as Diddy pooping (because of his tail position) and now I can't unsee it. The rest of you have to suffer my dirty mind too.

The star-nipple shirt doesn't help.

Sakurai Wrote:Pic of the day. There are actually two versions of the boxing ring stage! This ring is the Smash Bros. version…

Well that explains everything. They showed us the super smash bros version in the E3 trailer to give us a hint at little mac, but there's also a little mac themed stage.

Also, i can tell this stage is going to be among the favorites. The bars of the ring encourage crouch cancelling everything so that you hit the wall instead of flying out of the blast zone, but people will also follow up on you crouch cancelling and hitting the wall. Pretty unique as far as a smash stage goes.

The bonus pic reminds me of the Dedede boss fight in Super Star Ultra.

If you really think about it, Diddy Kong's eyes technically should touch the insides of his cap.

So jabs have easier and better follow ups?

No more using infinite A combo to rack up % i guess.

I'm curious how that's going to work with Kirby's rapid punch thing. Is he just going to smack them in the face or something?

I'm curious to know how marth's jab will change now(to make it different than blade dance)

The question is how it's activated. Does it automatically follow after a rapid jab ends? Do we have to do a manual command? Is it possible to avoid using it if it's detrimental?

I don't think he's on a crusade to eliminate infinites since infinites have been around since 64 and we have an entire character dedicated to infinites in ice climbers, but getting someone between you and a wall and spamming A to get them to 200% is pretty dumb.

Quote:Pic of the day. Once again, Waluigi's Assist Trophy joins the collection!! Â…Which also means he's not a playable character. Just because you try hard doesn't mean you'll make it into the battle.

Poor Wahahahaluigi.

We don't need another Mario character anyway.
