Here is the adventure of my first Cygnus char!
First Entry - 12/25/08 (Merry Christmas!)

Finally after a day of grinding (lol) to level 20, I made my first Cygnus char, AegIe! It means light, radiance, and glory according to a site about mythology names. I spent at least 15 minutes finding a good name for the char.
Level 1 to 3 comes and goes without any SS, because I didn't expect them, and Scroll Lock wouldn't work. Stupid glitch.

So I trained with quests from level 3 to 10. The monsters weren't really that hard, except the last 2 kinds, which damages me for 10ish and 20ish respectively. I have this annoying habit of not wanting to use pots for some reason. My reaction sucks for Level 10, because it was a talking quest and it didn't show the reward screen. I managed to get the SS when the HPQ notice is still up there, showing I just level'd.

Now AegIe is a... Soul Warrior! Since I can't decide which one to be and I love warriors so much, I decided to make my first Cygnus a Soul Warrior.
And that's it for now, I will have more updates later. I need to go to my uncle's for the Christmas lunch anyway.

While I'm waiting for my HP to recover (I don't wanna use the pretty Cygnus pots, and I don't wanna bother to buy more pots), I decided to post some more.
So after I advanced 1st job, I put my first SP straight into Improving MaxHP Increase, like any warrior should. Then I accepted the last training sessions on Ereb. I really like the numbered doors feature, even though I probably won't get to go inside other ones any time soon. It's fun fighting original MS monsters again.

I failed at taking the Level Up SS for Level 12, so I have to you an SS about 10 seconds after that. After I level'd to 13, I finally get to leave Ereb, on my mission to Henesys. I met up with the Cygnus guy in Henesys, and he immediately gave me a quest to kill 50 Cynical Orange Mushrooms and get 1 doll from them. The doll dropped right from the first one I killed, which was easy for me. Then I went on to finish the quest easily. I didn't level after the quest, so that was the first time I had to grind. Went to the nerfed HHG1 for a while, picking up those 30 EXP things that drop helped me level much faster. I found a T-Shirt while grinding, and the shirt was much better than my crappy Cygnus robe, so I put it on. Then after I level'd I went to Perion to buy Level 15 armors for next level, and the level 10 2H sword since there's no level 15 one.

The next quest from the Henesys guy was to find a spot for something. From the SS on Insoya, I found the spot at the map that has the entrance to the pigs mini dungeon. It gave me a brief view of a suspicious person, probably has something to do with the Black Magician. I took the SS just before he disappeared. The next quest from the guy was to kill 100 pigs, 50 ribbon pigs, and get 1 pig doll from them. I got the doll and is in progress of killing the rest of the pigs, now waiting for my HP to recover.
That's it for this update. I'll probably update some more later tonight if I progress further enough for an update.

Third Entry - 12/26/08
My Internet pineapple'd up on me last night, and I found out it was because I turned off the wireless thing on the laptop by accident. Sorry for being late, but here's the latest entry, for now.

After I finished killing the pigs for the quest, I turned it in and level'd. Got some new armors, and now I look just like any other Level 15 warrior, except for the medal title you see below the guild name. I got another quest to go back to Ereb and report my successful mission. I got a pig doll and a scroll that is supposed to be the mission report to turn back in to that guy that looks like a girl or vice versa, I'm not really sure. Then I had to (OMG) grind to Level 16. The first time ever I need to grind on my Cygnus. It was pretty easy though, thanks to an event quest that gave me 2300 exp. When I got to Level 16, I went back to Ereb, and got another quest to go to another Cygnus person, this time in Kerning. So I hurried there.

My first mission from that guy is to find a bubbling doll. Thanks to Insoya, I know I don't have to kill bubblings. All I needed to do was to search the trash cans inside the subway for a doll. I found it in the 2nd trash can. I went back to the guy and received a small amount of exp, then he gave me another quest. This time it's a tough one. I need to kill 100 bubblings and get 30 bubbling dolls from them. The dolls have a good drop rate, and I got all of them with about 20 bubblings left to kill. This time I used the pretty Cygnus pots and I burned through all but 13 of the 170 HP pots. When I finished killing all the bubblings, I went back to the guy and he gave me FREAKING NOT ENOUGH exp to level. I have, as you can see in the picture, 1/3 of the level to grind until I get the last mission from him and report back to Ereb. After that I get to grind some more for the next chain of quests.
I will update later when I finish the Kerning quest chain, and when I level some more after that.

So I level'd to 17 after a bit of grinding, then went back to Kerning for the last mission. There's a mini-quest inside this mission. The mission itself is to get a bubbling doll, but this one looks different from the other ones I got before. The mini-quest involves Mr. Pickall. I need to get 10 keys from bubblings for him to get the doll for the mission. After I ran out of Cygnus HP pots, I stayed there for a while until I realized that I need a chair. So I went to Lith and bought the Sky Blue Chair, because 35 HP is still better than 50 HP. Dam Cygnus warrior not having Improved HP Recovery. Then I went back to kill the bubblings and get the rest of the keys. I turned them in to Mr. Pickall and got the doll. Then I turned the doll in. After that I got the quest to report back to Nineheart. I got the doll I just got, and a scroll that looks like the mission report, just like the Henesys one. I went back to Ereb and turned that in. Then I had about 1/3 of the level to grind. I decided to accept Nella's quest so I can get the Level 20 gloves. I went to get 50 bubbles from bubblings, dieing 3 times in the process. Now I REALLY hate bubblings. I went to HHG3 to kill green mushrooms for 50 caps. I miss HHG1 with green mushrooms.
Anyway I didn't get a good spawn of green mushrooms and level'd when I only got 12 of them. A new Cygnus quest hit me without a warning. From Insoya, I though the Ellinia quest chain starts at Level 21. Oh well, time to go to Ellinia. I accepted the quest from the lightbulb this time, being too lazy to go all the way to Ereb. Then I met with the Ellinia guy, who looks very young. Turned in the quest for no reward, and accepted the first mission from him.
More updates after I finish Ellinia.

Fifth Entry - 12/28/08

The first mission from the Ellinia guy (kid) was to get a bottle of sap or something like that from a new place in Ellinia. This is where the shortcut to Sleepywood is located. Easy. I got the thing, and have to turn it in to Arwen, for some reason. Then I went to the guy and he gives me another mission. This time to find 10 fruits by hitting the plants in maps north of Ellinia. Pretty quick, there was more than enough plants going up the Tree That Rose. Then I turned it in and got not so much exp. Time to go back to Nella's quest.

I finished getting the rest of 50 green mushroom caps pretty fast, at the mushroom tree. Then I turned it in and got another quest, for 5 screws and 5 processed woods. I did John's first jump quest for the screws, and went hunting for branches for processed woods. I level'd up in progress. Then I turned the quest in and headed back to Ellinia for the next Cygnus mission.

This time I have to go to Grendel's Library. He was not there and when I entered a timer for 10 minutes started. I clicked on the book I need to click, and the guy I saw near Henesys appeared again, this time he came with lots of blue mushrooms. I jumped down and started Power Striking them. My no HP pots habit got the best of me, and I died. Luckily I didn't seem to lose any exp. Besides, I don't have to fight them anymore! I just went ahead and turned in the quest. Then I got a mission report to Nineheart. So I went back to Ereb and turned that in.

Then I went back to Nella's quest. The last request for Level 15 chain was to get 100 tentacles and 1 pure water. I went to hunt for the tentacles for a while, dieing once and leveling up once. Then I went to Florina and purchased a pure water. I turned it in and got my Level 20 gloves, just in time! Then I went to Perion and got the rest of my Level 20 armors.
After that I went to do the B1 jump quest, which I finished pretty fast. Got 30 scrolls for Hene, which I sold because I don't carry those, and 1 fame! My first ever KMS fame too!
The next update will probably be up to Level 25, because that's when the next Cygnus quest starts. It will also be a minor update of how I got there, not the Cygnus quest itself. That will be after the next update when I finish the whole chain.

Finally I grinded from 21-25 last night and this morning. Awee. Didn't get Level 21 SS because I d/c'd when I attacked the last pig.

Seventh Entry - 1/4/09

So I went to Ereb and got the quest to speak to the Perion guy. Nineheart gave me a weird machine to give to him. I went to Perion and turned that in. Then I got the quest to kill 200 wooden masks and get a doll from them. Done after a while of whacking them without pots. After that I had a bit of free time, so I went to do the first Ellinia jump quest, and got a 10% overall def for reward. Then I went to stalk Hazzy and made him my slave son. Then I went to get the raggedy old cape quest, started to whack some wild boars, and accepted Hazzy's warp to Magatia. Then I screwed the cape and forfeitted (past tense?) the quest. After that I went to ArPQ with Hazzy some more, and went to get free 2X from a guy in guild and trained to Level 26. I went back to Perion and accepted the next quest. This time I need to kill 200 stone masks and get a doll. After dieing, Dan came by to record me for the guild video, and I got free 300 white pots and 200 blue pots. (Thanks Dan!) Then I proceeded to kill the rest of stone masks, but had to kill a little more for the doll that didn't want to drop. Then I turned in the quest and got the quest to report back to Ereb. The guy also gave me the weird machine I gave him and a mission report. I went back to Ereb, where I turned in the quest.
Next update: Prepare for fun as there will be a guest star!

After days of MLPQing, because I was busy with school week, I finally got my belt this morning. Then I went ahead and used family 2x so I can level to 28. Now I can do the next Cygnus quests.

There's Hazzy. Hooray. Guest star. Back to my adventure now? So I went straight to MLPQ aka Mu Lung Dojo, and as you can see failed miserably. I decided to finish getting my white belt later, as 200 points seems impossible right then.
So I went all the way to Ludi, where I got the walnut quest from the toy soldier guy there. Not the funnest quest I've done, but I managed it. I finally got my 20th walnut, which seems to hate me so much as it wouldn't drop. I got my Level 30 shoes, which is great. Then I went back to Mu Lung Dojo.
After days of MLPQing, because I was busy with school week, I finally got my belt this morning. Then I went ahead and used family 2x so I can level to 28. Now I can do the next Cygnus quests.

Ninth Entry - 1/10/09
So I went back to Ereb, and got the quest from Nineheart. The quest is to finish 4 missions in Sleepywood. The missions can be accepted all at the same time, so I accepted all of them, but the last one, which won't be available until I finish one of the mission or something like that. The missions are to get 100 horny mushroom caps, kill 250 zombie mushrooms, and kill 200 evil eyes. I finished the first two in the mini dungeon, and went on to kill evil eyes. In the process, I accidentally sold the caps with other stuffs I picked up, and had to redo it after I killed all 200 evil eyes. Not fun. After that I went back to Sleepywood, and turned all the quests in. Then I finished the last mission, which is apparently just talking to the jump quest statue. Then I went back to Ereb, and Nineheart told me to go kill the Puppet Master.

I went to the Puppet Master's hideout, which I saw when I was busy killing evil eyes. I got the password from Insoya, and quickly went inside. The music was great, and I enjoyed it. Inside the hideout is the Puppet Master himselft, standing in front of a weird altar. I talked to him and he turned into an enemy. I know that he can seal, so I got 10 holy waters from Ellinia, but I actually need only 2. His attack is plain and simple, although he casted a weird spell that made me walk to the right for a short while at the beginning of the fight. His only attack that I saw was attacking with his doll. He can also heal for 700ish HP, which he did twice. He went down quickly, because he only has 20,000 HP. Then I went back to Ereb to report to Nineheart the status of my mission when...

Next update will be my journey to Level 30, and after that is my job advancement.

So I went all the way to Ludi to do Nemi's quests for the Level 30 earrings and helmet. Helped save me a lot as the helmet costs 120k in store. The quests weren't that hard. The first one was to get 10 cheeses from Ratz, which I finished quickly and got 100 hamburgers for reward. Then I had to get 15 eggs from Tweeters, my biggest challenge ever. It was a pain, but with Erich's help, I made it. Then I collected 45 traps from Ratz and turned in 2 consecutive quests for the earrings and helmet. Then I trekked back to Orbis, where I stopped to buy sword and pants. Then I went back to Vic. I trained for a while at Excavation Site 3 with some Family 2x, and level'd. I went back to Perion where I bought new shirt, then equipped everything and sold everything I had and ended up with 10k.
