I never understood why they removed them from the Cash Shop in the first place. World Transfers I can understand, but not name changes.

Partially because they caused 2-3 hour weekly maintenances to become 8-10 hour ones, I think.

To be honest, I don't know how the text can go missing. The tooltip code is the same for all items, and if the "time limited" flag is set on the item it shows the date in the "expiration date" field.

My conspiracy theory is that they accidentally put in permanent Pendants of the Spirit, and this "known issue" is their way of allowing themselves to replace all these pendants with expiring ones at some later maintenance, and pretending they just fixed the display issue.
The alternative would have been stopping the boxes after a few hours, and we know how well that went last time.

Well, if the method they use to create time limited items doesn't assign an expiration date, then the item won't be time limited and an expiration date won't be shown, much like when hackers generated android hearts, or the All 4 One medal we just got. So, if the expiration date is not shown, it's not going to expire automatically.

The simplest solution would probably to just delete all the pendants in 7 days or 30 days or however long they were supposed to last, which would probably get all of the pendants people get from the boxes that come from gacha boxes (unless this hot time pendant has a different ID, which given their tendency to duplicate items, is probably very likely), which I don't think that's such a big deal since there probably aren't all that many, but they might be upset with that.

It seems the Pendant of Spirit actually is permanent, they just fucked up and are going to take them away manually in a week.

If they were time-limited, you'd have the tag on the item. You'd also have an expiration date, and if you had an hourglass you'd be able to extend the time limit of the pendant (of course, given the item doesn't have the tag "Cannot extend time limit".



The explanation of "hidden time limit" doesn't make sense from what we've seen in the game and from what actual expiring tags say.
