I work at a coliseum complex. One day, we were having a chinatown festival for the chinese new year. It was filled with real chinese food (not the americanized stuff), cultural festivities, and demonstrations. However, the coliseum administrators thought it would be a good idea to have a dog show on the premises the same time as the chinatown festival.

Unbeknownst to the coliseum administrators, some of the chinese approached the dog show owners and offered to buy the dogs. Of course, after the chinese were told the price of a purebred dog in USD, they quickly declined.

I don't know... On the one hand, it is a lot of money, but on the other hand I don't think I could look at something happy and innocent and shoot it. If you could see the puppy was obviously abused and didn't have the life in its eyes as the previous example, I would shoot it to save it from years of psychological torment (My mom's friend adopted an abused dog, and the dog was extremely afraid to be left by somebody even for 5 minutes. I don't know what was going on in the dog's head, but it was obviously paranoid and afraid).

If I didn't know the dog; like Fiel said anyways, I'd sure as hell shoot it. Then I'd pay for it's operation and remove it's memories of me shooting it and replace it with a dream.

Couldn't agree with you more, though the money from the animal societies would be much better off keeping the money they'd have given me. I cried when my fish died yesterday, so I'd probably off myself out of guilt shortly after if I were ever to allow myself to kill a little mammal.

I dislike the use of guns . Although, close range weapons and the thought of a million dollars makes it a little more tempting... but I don't think I could pull it off.
