Lv. 1: 4% boss damage, 4% critical rate and 3% maxHP and MP
Lv. 2: 7% boss damage, 7% critical rate and 4% maxHP and MP
Lv. 3: 10% boss damage, 10% critical rate and 5% maxHP and MP
Was the main bossing attack nerfed? Anything big that should be mentioned?

Uni posted his translations up ... but based on that I don't think it has. I assume the main bossing attack is the bear swipe thingy?(and final blow)

It looks like it's a minor nerf on various skills including the passive exp%+ becoming 30% at max level now. (but some buffs on some)

I can dig a 7% critical boost. With my newly acquired DSE line I'll hit 100% with Barrage anyway, so I will be able to spend a Hyper Skill point on something else Biggrin

I wasn't gonna play Tamer for her link skill in the first place, so I remain undeterred.

although i guess it would've been nice

It's going to be even funnier when Nexon has to give them the obligatory edgy names for Empress and Fafnir.

Spadow; Sorry to bother you again, but Ayumilove's Beast Tamer skill "build" guide (if you can call it that) is claiming that Beast Tamer uses a new system for levelling up skills (using exp rather than SP, like that beginner skill), and it seems people are lapping it up believing it to be true.

I don't believe it's true because i've been following what you have told us here, but with the recent changes in the test servers, I can't be 100% certain. Is Ayumilove spreading false information to the community?

She's been doing this for years tho

I never took any of her guides seriously, spotted many flaws in some and just ignored them after that.

Although any new info from Tespia would be welcomed.

Pretty much 2h + secondary is the way to go. That and until Unleashed/Unlimited(iirc) or some patch near that time shields couldn't get boss% like secondaries do.

So much rage at DB's way back when. I just wish that GMS would get Kritias or something so Resistance/Hero's/Zero could get emblems.

I'm kinda surprised Demon and Zero don't have one for a story related reason. Demon gets extra story stuff here and there from time to time and I figured

Assuming no difference in WA on the whole (not implausible and probably very realistic e.g. Khanjars etc.), it is not impossible for attack speeds to weigh equally, if not more, with damage multipliers to make 1H weapons DPS-viable. In fact, if you think about the skill delay function, your increase in DPS for every increase in speed stage is increasing.

Oh I like it. It was pretty easy to tell what was going on, even without being able to understand Japanese.

Where do you see that? Beast Tamer receives SP from leveling up which can be distributed freely in the animal skill trees.
There is no new system other than that particular beginner skill which is new.

Yeah, that's what I thought. thanks for confirming anyway.
And like I said, I didn't believe that, but other people were, thanks to certain people spreading false info.

And she copied my old Aran guide word for word without asking me for permission or even informing me. I only found out when I checked her site one day. She gave me credit for the guide, so I wasn't all that annoyed, but still.

I've watched both Spadow's video and multiple videos on youtube and it's as I feared. I seems that to do angry slash, you have to use forepaw slash as a start up. They may even take up the same key from how the casting looked, meaning that forepaw would "evolve" into angry with the skill being on one key OR angry could just have the forepaw start-up built in. Either way, this sucks majorly because (although it has nice range) if you get knock out of range, you will have to move into position and restart angry, losing dps. Also, bosses like gollux require you to move back and forth. The only time for rest would be when using the hyper where you're invincible for 30 seconds. After 100 attacks you would have to restart it as well of course. Also, it seems (from the vids) that any multi attacking move can cancel concentrated strike which is odd because from the look of the skill, it should be able to be toggled like BaM's.

Starting to get quite concerned about tamer now...

Lol, what a coincidence! She did the exact same thing to my old Aran guide on Basil as well. In fact certain elements of her Aran guide are still word-for-word copies of mine. I think she gave me credit after a bunch of people called her out on it, but at first she didn't at all.

Speaking of basil, I still remember that there a time when they named Aran job tiers after the corresponding segment of my guide. Like Aran Memories (each segment of the guide with a build was titled "(job tier number): random word I thought fit best") or stuff like that. I was pretty shocked, and informed them that no, those aren't official names so please change them so people won't be confused.

Indeed. But Many of the Higher end players, at least the ones I hang with, go get Decent SI gloves(for classes that can abuse it) through the pot tier upgrade ones from Root Abyss.
