What will be unavailable:

• All MapleStory game servers.
  

Changes and Updates:

• MapleStory will be updated from v.144.2 to v.144.3.
  
• A fix will be applied for a disconnection bug caused by a Zero skill.
  
• The Spring of Rebirth will be re-added to the Time Coin Shop in the Mirror World.

Spring of Rebirth being unavailable didn't bother me, haha. on a whim I decided to by 20 or so Springs just before the maintenance that they disappeared in.

It's nice to see them doing Unscheduled Maintenances for things that aren't hack/exploit related.
Giving us an hour notice is quite nice, too.

This is a rumor (so take it with a grain of salt), but I've been told by a few people that there's some sort of "remote" hack going around that involves mushie shops?

Has anyone else heard of this.
Two different individuals I know were both hacked today, and neither of them informed me about this so-called "remote" hack. Makes me wonder if it is just a coincidence or not.

That being said, I'd rather be safe than sorry and avoid fm for a bit :I

If all your valuables are locked they probably can't steal anything.

There have been various 'remote' characters hacks in the past, I haven't heard of a recent one though. Last one I recall you needed to send the person attempting to hack you a specific packet that you logged on your character, so it wasn't by any means easy to fall for, and you had to have hacking tools open in-game to even have it happen to you. Those are extremely scary though and it wouldn't surprise me at all if there is another one surfacing ._.

They didn't compensate last Christmas when 2x coupons didn't work, so good luck.

PLEASE. I hope this fix somehow fixes my locked down error code 38 character...

Been stuck there for 2 weeks almost now. And no fix near. My ticket is still open and all, dammit.

So this is the kind of widespreadness that needs to occur to get an "error code : 38" fixed in some timely manner. An unfortunately inconveniencing, though not game restrictive bug fixed in less than a week? With this response I hope everyone gets character locked out with the other "error code : 38" that is rarer but significantly worse than this. Some people have been out-of-luck for weeks, if not months, so pardon my lack of sympathy for people who were troubled for the last few days.

Something along those lines. There's been controversy in the past if an actual hack really did exist, or if people have been hacked from a different method. Yeah, I heard about that too. As I said above it's hard to really know for sure I'd like to think my friends know what could get them hacked and avoid things like that, but who knows. Maybe they were doing something they shouldn't have been doing.
