I was pretty sure the head dropped more than 2 green coins.

At least that's what I thought looking at the white text when you loot things. They appear as 2 coins but in bundles... if you get what I mean. Unless I'm mistaking the blue and green coins :f6:.

No you are correct, one pile is usually a bundle while the other pile is a single coin.

On hard mode you usuallyget 1 coin + a 10-18 coin bundle [idk why it differs so much].

The only bad part is that if your in a party and you loot the bundle, your party members only get 1 coin. So make sure you take turns each day =P

Oh good. Sometimes my asian eyes see things others don't (or not see ...) . I've only ever solo-ed the thing so all the coins are for me !

By the way I won't be able to log in Maple for awhile to know this but have they fixed the drops for Gollux with this coin drop change?

Well I just defeated Gollux for the first time, the head dropped nothing at all, because a cutscene started as soon as I won, and then I was in the heart with only one portal available, which took me back to the hub, how stupid.

Is Gollux a midnight-reset boss?

Also ridiculous how the body parts are only dropping blue coins now. The items cost like 100+ coins each, it will take weeks to get anything decent from this boss, eurgh.

The Head doesn't actually drop anything, the room with the Heart is a reactor; this, in the same way defeating Balrog sends you to another map to claim your rewards. If you've never Balroged, which apparently more people then I figure have not, it is like Crimson Queen's or Pierre's click to open boxes. You were supposed to click the Heart or slightly below it to claim your reward.

If they fix the shop to the way it is supposed to function, like the Azwan store or perhaps like RA's Fredric, they ought to bring back Gollux Coins dropping from the Shoulders/Abdomen. If they wanted to impose a coin limit, a daily entrance counter would suffice. I'd like to think that this is a stop-gap measure to prevent farming before that fix is applied.

I'm still waiting for these equipments to reach the next cash grab or Marvel.

Seems like they implemented a limit of 6 entrances per day now. Not sure if that means 6 attempts at the head or if it's just 6 entrances overall, I'm assuming the latter though.

Also evo emp I heard drops shoulders again, which makes sense since I've been seeing a lot of them in the fm now. Although her drops are a bit of a mess and she drops like..everything now [like capes and such]. Also her drop rate stll sucks f3

And it's not like gollux set is out of reach o.o It's just going to take time. I gain coins at the rate of 16ish every other day so just means it's going to take a little under 2 weeks for an item o.o Not that bad.

i was so confused when i killed a shoulder and a coin didnt drop, like "what the hell?"

then i kill other shoulder and abdomen, still no coin, i was still confused.

Killed head and 2 coins dropped.

This is awful man, i was planning on farming for level 140 ring and earring but look what they did to us. D:

Too bad I'm on a class that can't fight the head without dying a bunch (no teleports or ranged attacks) The chest wasn't great either but at least it's only 1% loss.

Even on easy, eyes/forehead take long enough that he fires off half a dozen 1hkos in the time it takes me to kill it. I guess my 100k range is too low for me to be fighting endgame bosses lol

Also, confirming Evo v2's drop their respective gear (well, I got a helm from mihile/oz on 2.4x drop).
I tried Cygnus but no shoulders, although that was the norm on a measly 2.4x drop rate.
