A Better Maple
Takebacker Wrote:You get -1 point per scroll pass for every 10 levels below 150 the equipment is. +5 stats for a 110 equip on the first scroll i think, with a 40% boom rate. Certainly does sound like "better than every other scroll" to me. o.o MEEs are trash for 139- equips. One more reason the unfunded get r'aped.

?

You get +9 stats on the first scroll on a 110 equip, like I said. Besides that, it doesn't make sense that you'd lose -1 stat per 10 levels because a 150 equip would get 19 stats, just like Tyrants, so how would you arrive at +5 on a 110 equip? The stat bonus goes down by 2~3 per 10 levels. It's attack that goes down by 1 for every 10 levels, and that's on the 5th star, or more accurately, the first attack gain is equal to the level of the equip minus 60 then divided by 10. It's all in my MEE thread, I even posted tables for every 10 levels between 80 and 150, remember?

On a 110 equip, it's +9 stats with a 60% success rate, the only thing that'd rival that is passing a Pinnacle Scroll, which has a 20% rate, which has a much lower success rate and a much higher boom rate, not to mention not being available anymore.

i don't see anything about link skills not staying after a d/c, crash, or relog.

If it wasn't brought up during the initial round of feedback, why would it be there now?
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

Just echoing what others have pointed out, but I feel sad seeing some of the questions that have been upvoted, like:

Quote:Is the Black Mage going to be a real, fightable boss in the future?

People honestly care more about the Black Mage than customer support or lag issues? I know that KMS has been pushing the Black Mage as the final big bad for a really long time, but I feel like they're just setting us up for a major disappointment.

Not to mention, there's already a Black Mage NPC, as seen in the Luminous storyline.

no one uses planes these days. it's just instant warping using momijigaoka and pantheon.

Aircalibur Wrote:"Why'd you shorten the transit time between regions? People used to hang out and chat on the ship between Victoria Island and Orbis."

This seems like the worst one to me, mostly because last I checked, you could still use the ship, it's just very slow and inefficient if you're trying to move quickly.

Humans just being humans. Same old story. If there's a shortcut, people will take advantage of it and complain afterwards about why x ruined y aspect of the game.

No. However, I would like to see Fiel eat his shirt.

The problem isn't the fact that those things removed socializing. The problem is that they didn't really adress those problems when they tweaked it. I'm still waiting for split drops in GMS so bossing doesn't feel like "whoever has pet loot and is closer loots all" with randoms. That way, with rewards already adressed for each player, you achieve something. You achieve TRUST. People prefer to solo because they don't TRUST companions. Or if overly funded, entry limit, ok. But still, a safety net for socialization needs to be added the same way it was removed with the encouragement of solo play.

People care more about the loss of LHC Party Play and old Victoria Isle over most other things that should have top priority. It's pretty disgusting.

If they don't correct anything else about the game at lease turn new leaf back to the way it was. Ever since i lost my original account and the update early 2012 the chain quest for the CWK Exchange quest has been gone. It was really the only way i made Mesos w/o merching.. Seems like that's the ONLY way to get ahead in this game since bossing now is for the extremely funded players.

Ah, I'm having vivid flashbacks of the night we extracted the Masteria patch and speculated/strategized on how to do the PQ / fight the bosses. Such pleasant memories.

I really wonder when nexon decides to do something with these questions.
Anyone else un-able to log in to the voting site btw?

I was able to login to it an hour or so before the maintenance.
It does seem high time to close the voting, though. Numbers don't look like they're going to change significantly anymore.
