lol So much for everything from the 23th till yesterday, only got a RED ticket, the halloween hat and a special potential carver.

I was kind of doubting that they'd give out 6 RED Tickets in one box, but at least they didn't derp and give out an empty box.

The description on the boxes never matched the event description, but neither did it make sense. "The most of"? So mask fragments?

Edit: seeing that Maryse is collecting info to pass along, I wonder whether I should continue collecting broken boxes on all accounts (for the compensation?) or wait until they fix them (maybe for the worse?),

We're looking into it. It seems it could be that incorrect information was included in the posts about the event due to a misunderstanding of the 10/30 Hot Day functionality, but regardless, we'll ask what can be done.

On an unrelated note, I somehow finally got the little chinchilla!

Glad it'll be looked into, just hoping they choose to go the direction of giving the items that were promised instead of considering it meant to be.

I do think that it's sad that people have been wondering aloud, since the first appearance of the Update Notes, about this "last day gives you everything all over again" - and nobody at Nexon thought to check whether that really was what's going to happen.

Now we get to wonder whether they'll treat it as usual when the events don't turn out to be as advertised (i.e., tell us "Tough luck" and retroactively edit the event description) or actually give us the missing items (or worthwhile compensation).

More than likely the former but if they do so they should also "fix" the event description for the next hot week as in the update notes it says the same thing should happen the last day of the next hot week.

opened three boxes, each had:

all 8 days had been accepted on the respective characters.

Oh well, more hats are good. I blew up all the previous ones with the '40%' positive chaos scrolls from some previous hot day.

As everyone else did. Not what was announced though.

I'm content with just the RED tickets and Black Friday Coins.

what's the red tickets do anyway? o-o I couldn't get all of them because i got IP banned in the middle and they have the "you get x amount and you win things!" but doesn't really explain anything.

Glad i read the thread. Now i don't have to log on to get a slot expansion "for the hell of it".
