[Complete] Scheduled Game Update - October 15, 2013

Thinking maybe 12 or more hours of downtime again? Maybe that is just being conservative on the amount of downtime for a big patch.

Seems like someone forgot to push the "ON" button for the servers.

Actually, they've been on for the past five hours. Nexon only just now took them down again. Whether that is because they need to update them and try again, or just the usual reset they do right before game up, remains to be seen.

Valued players,

In keeping you in line with our feeds as we work over some wrinkles, the consensus from the v department(s) is that w hours would be a safe bet by when to expect access - x if we're being cautiously optimistic. A few hiccups related to y account for the delay.

Please understand it's a foregone conclusion that everyone participating in the attendance check will be accommodated. Feel free to check back for updates in moderate intervals of z minutes.

I timed myself and that took me literally 53 seconds (save for formatting) to write up with hardly any forethought.

Really, how f'ucking hard is it to do that? How f'ucking hard is it to resolve to communicating with people responsible for keeping this game above water? How obvious does it have to be after pissing over the deliverance of just about every single patch? This game is dying largely due to administrative abuse - how hard is it to take communication and apply it not only to patches, but in all other areas?

The admin-player relationship is so caustic (and I haven't even submitted an egregious example) that such simple, small band-aid fixes would make a huge difference. There's no way a working environment that hasn't cultivated enough foresight and capitalized on the obvious for so long isn't full of retards. This game won't even need an autopsy when the time comes.

Let's drag this on for another 4 hours. I'm pretty sure that what Nexon meant to put when they extended the maintenance, am I right? Wink

Maybe they're keeping the game down longer to fix boss drops.

Ariant was 23 hours, right? Maybe they want to try for a new record. Rolleyes

Don't worry guys, after the game comes up you'll get to enjoy the content for 4ish hours before it goes back down for unscheduled maintenance! Biggrin
