That's definitely a character I wouldn't mind seeing in the game.

I wonder which would win or if they would just clank. Megaman would probably have much better follow ups from that situation between regular buster as well as his blades, but samus' charge shot isn't so immobilizing like a fully charged f-smash would be.

I'm still impressed they managed to make brawl and galaxy look as good as they did because the Wii's hardware was the shittiest thing by far.

Brawl looked so fantastic that it's just too difficult to make the same leap of impressiveness from the previous games!

Hypermug Wrote:Brawl looked so fantastic that it's just too difficult to make the same leap of impressiveness from the previous games! What? No, it should have been really easy to do it because of the possible jump to 1080p resolution from 480p. Nintendo is just refusing to spend significant amounts on graphics on the u because the money might not make itself back. This is why we're getting a 3DS upscale as our 3d mario game, Wind waker: Bloom edition and a smash bros that looks pretty much the same as the last one.

Yeah, I was being a little silly, but I seriously just didn't expect the same jump that happened from melee to brawl.

Hypermug Wrote:Yeah, I was being a little silly, but I seriously just didn't expect the same jump that happened from melee to brawl. Why not? The jump technologically from Gamecube-> wii is much smaller than the jump from Wii -> Wii U.

The jump from 64 to Melee was way larger than Melee to Brawl so it was a bad example really. Anyway I really like how it looks on the Wii U so I have no complaints.

I have no complaints about the graphics of either versions.
I was a bit disappointed with the 3DS versions graphics at first, until I found out you could remove the borders on the characters.

Is that the new ground pound? That's crazy if it launches him into the air like that but only if you can follow up with his back air.
Also is that really how they determine balance? Just by looking at the battle records that the employees create...?

Look at their previous games and understand why certain characters were good and why others weren't? Just some ideas. I mean i find it hard to believe that they had terrible fox/falcos/shieks during melee development considering how easy they are even on casual level. Metaknight is a little more understandable since the learning curve for him is a tad steep imo (some of his moves function totally different from their intention i'm sure, a la down B recovery vs the terrible counter it was meant to be) but some of his moves just give them no excuse (down/up air is way too good given they knew about momentum cancelling which isn't something they could just not know about). Also lol link. I do enjoy playing him though and his combos can be awesome to look at

Why do you think the tests are only from the developement team? They only name "records", not where they get them. For all we know, there could already be a team of testers playing with the stuff released on the web, unable to leak all that already "leaked" stuff.

My real issue is how they apply the data to the characters, not as much how they get it. |
