We had just left the zak altar when that message came over. I feel sorry for everyone in the middle of an expensive boss fight.

theres "usually" a server check on Tuesday/Wensday but they usually announce em on the website at least.

It screws you over when you happen to be fighting a boss and you're down to the last 1% when the emergency server maintenance boots you out of the game. And as I recall, I never heard of NEXON ever reimbursing in these kind of situations, even if you did manage to kill the boss in time, only to get D/Ced before being able to loot.

The funny thing is, that actually happened to me once. I got 2x when I was powerleveling to 100, and bam! Emergency SC pops up.

every once in a while they will not have a server check, i think they didnt have one the week before the christmas patch. Also, they usually announce the server checks, so an out of the blue "server check will begin in 10 minutes" is a bit shocking to some.
