Changes to Cash Shop EXP Coupons

I personally think that they should have left them out for good.

It's pretty lame that there's a special title for the first few people to hit 200 on Xenon and knowing that unless you shell out for 2x coupons, it ain't gonna be yours >.>

It's just amazing how they removed 2x coupons for lvl 201+ players and yet give no content. It's like they don't even realize we have exp penalties here. Stating at 11 lvls its 5% xp loss per lvl extra with a capped penalty of 50%. Might as well go back to pre bb skele training days because that's the rate tons of guys are getting already. Balanced? Not even close.

At least there's plenty of loopholes to consider given the Nexon team hasn't thought of patching up.. specially if you're an Explorer.

There's also people with tons of exp coupons via Marvel, would they not be able to redeem it on a level 201+?

Wonder how long before Nexon takes this change back due to the whining. Same pomegranate happened when x2 coupons were removed when Big Bang hit, Nexon caved to the whining.

This was exactly what I was going to get at.

If a relatively unachievable goal of Level 250 is considered meaningful, then Level 200 on a new class with an added title ought to be equally if not more meaningful. Since they've shown the ability to selectively restrict Cash Shop items, perhaps they ought to restrict the same 2X for every new class race. Not that it doesn't prevent Marvel or other means, but if they are going the route of "meaningful"...

Also, I'd really like to have been in the meeting when this was decided.

I personally don't use 2X Cards because the lack of a reason to blitz towards 250 and I hate any training longer than one hour, but I can see other people getting annoyed.

If they could endure all the whining that happened with Jesters, Aliens, LHC etc etc, I wouldn't be surprised if the 2X cards stay like this for a while.

Though I'm really confused why they are doing this. They lose profit and the fight to 250 becomes more unreachable to some classes.

it doesn't have particular effect on me but my friends are pretty much going WHAT.

i very rarely used CS 2X if ever and it was during 19X and higher

This would've made a lot more sense if they did it when they raised the level cap.

Yeah we wouldn't want something from the cash shop unbalancing the game now would we...

I would actually be happy about this, if it would really work and had came before cap was raised, because if there's anything to balance competition between nxless and nx addict I'm a happy guy. Assuming the loopholes are there this will however do the exact opposite of balancing it out.

Although tbh with exp reduction and no reward for leveling I don't see 200+ grinding worth it at all. So this is w/e.

On unrelated note, if they wanted to balance it out they would either nerf potential or make it significantly easier to get good stats.

If they're going this route I wonder if when they bring RLHS back level 200+'s won't be able to do it.

Level 200+ characters that went after unleashed didn't gain exp anyway. They'll probably just keep it that way so that 200+'s can still get their totems.

This looks more like a panic reaction ("GMS already has a level WHAT? Can't let them go that much faster than KMS!") than something they actually thought out.

Transferring a card between explorers probably works, but who cares? Surely no-one is actually trying to level one of those old underpowered classes beyond 200 Rolleyes

It's sad to hear for others. Luckily for me, I quit training after 200.

I didn't hear about that.

I wonder what will happen if you try to gift it to a lv200+ character, will it not let you? Whats to stop people from buying it a lv200 and 99% (although thats only an extra day at most). Also, it would be nice if there was some where to train without an exp penalty after lv 210ish.

Well I remember reading in other versions that got unlimited, they raised the equip drop rate by something huge like 5x, made items that dropped have a very high chance of being hidden pot, and made items with potential have a much higher chance of being revealed epic.

It looks like our version might have only the hidden pot abundance though. I will admit though I have revealed a lot more things that are epic than before unleash though, so I don't know if we also got that as well.
