I've had this happen to me before... but I actually GOT the present that was just an empty box. Poor kid. I feel bad for him. But I still laughed.

While this article isn't really related to the video, it does go to show that there's another side to the Empty box gift, which is similar to the video in a way, and not just it being a cruel joke.

Depressing, even if he got the XBox. -- I already think Santa is bad for a kids psyche to begin with...

I had an experience similar to this; except my Parents put the Pokemon Yellow Version I wanted for Christmas in a Box that held Chocolates to fool me :o
