It is likely I am thinking of the Frost Ring then.

Quote:Lion King's Castle

To address player concerns about an imbalance in EXP gained in Lion King's Castle versus other areas aimed at a similar level range, several changes have been made.
The level requirement to enter maps has been removed.
Party Play bonus EXP has been removed.
Monster stats have been adjusted because of the Party Play removal; the monsters are weaker and give EXP that is similar to other monsters in their level range.
The monster respawn rate has been increased.
The use of the Mystic Door skill has been limited.

This saddens me.

Sorry, it just peeves me when people talk about the Unlimited Ring when they really mean the Ultimate Ring, even though it's really inconsequential. Also, you can't just purchase the Ultimate Ring, I've never gotten one from those boxes, but it might come from the Kaleido-Spinner boxes (They promise Pinnacle/Ultimate equips, after all). Mostly I've only seen them in Cash Shop Updates in Gachapon Boxes.

 • Final Stage: One of your party will need to sacrifice himself or herself to allow the rest of the party to proceed to the boss fight.

Wow, that's incredibly unfair.

I didn't log on yesterday because I was waiting for the patch, when the patch was pushed back I was like "ok, lets do some other stuff instead"

It's not fair for us to miss out on event rewards because the patch was pushed back. Because there was no prior warning to this event, I've now missed out on the season one reward Sad

sorry for tagging you in this Girasol; but is there any way around this? I shouldn't be punished for failing to log in for an attendance event that wasn't even running at the time.

Add me to the list of people who have lost the chance to get the slot coupon.
Reply
Heck, I didn't even realize that. I didn't log on yesterday at all.

Who's bright idea was it to have attendance count the day before the patch goes live anyway?

Nexon Wrote:Cygnus
The HP and some other stats have been increased for Cygnus, Mihile, Oz, Irena, Eckhart, Hawkeye, and Shinsoo
Cygnus no longer heals herself.
Mihile, Oz, Irena, Eckhart, and Hawkeye cannot be knocked back
Shinsoo now auto-aggros.
The timer for the fight has been lowered to 30 minutes.
The Cygnus battle is now instanced.
Some of battle and map flow changes have been for the Cygnus fight.
Entry has been been changed from an expedition to a party.
Entry has been changed to allow repeated entrances as long as you have a Dream Key in your inventory.

Hilla (hard mode)
Her HP have been increased.
Some other stats were raised and others were lowered.

Chaos Horntail
Knockback has been increased for Chaos Horntail's various parts.

Magnus (hard mode)
The Death Count allowance has been increased from 20 to 40.
His HP function has changed, some other stats have beenincreased.

Pink Bean
The timer for the fight has been lowered to 30 minutes.

Chaos Pink Bean
The HP have been increased for Chaos Pink Bean and his related monsters.
Chaos Pink Bean cannot be knocked back.

Root Abyss bosses
Some stats were raised and others were lowered for all Root Abyss bosses.

Von Leon
The timer for the fight has been lowered to 30 minutes.

Regular Zakum
Entry has been been changed from an expedition to a party.

Chaos Zakum
The HP of each arm have doubled.
Knockback has been increased: Undamaged and damaged bodies
Some other stats have been modified on the damaged body.

Tongue

So basically we got exactly what KMS got, save for Von Leon, normal Hilla, and CHT.

They were a tad vague with Magnus and CRA... I assume the 'other stats were lowered' for CRA is referring to how our Vellum and Pierre have (or had) higher HPs than in KMS?
Reply
Indeed, that is entirely unfair. You can't take attendance retroactively.
I think I logged on my main yesterday, but I may have been logged in since the day before, which probably won't count (gotta relog to get the stamp each day?)

Anyway, they should credit everyone for that day. And learn to not plan events like that to start on patch day... I just hope the game is sufficiently working on the 20th to get the attendance done. Killing 300 monsters "of my level range" can take a while. (Do all mobs over 150 still count for players over 150?)

Twisted Aqua Road monsters should count right? and they can be accessed through the mirror, so no travelling time.

I'm pretty sure the "over 150" thing was taken away with unlimited. so I'm just happy they gave us some 200+ areas.

Really..? I didn't log on at all yesterday because of personal issues, so I lost out on perfect attendance for the week when the event wasn't even technically active?
son of a peach.

Thing is though, most of these 'kill a certain amount of mobs' quests only apply to mobs that exist in KMS. I'm pretty sure Twisted Aqua mobs won't count for the quest.
But there's still Twilight Perion...

Wow nothing about Arkarium...I'm hoping they changed it and they just forgot to mention it :/

Also I'm really hoping normal mode Magnus' green clone attack got slowed down too like in KMS...I mean it's avoidable now but your reflexes have to be on point like there's no tomorrow lol.

I wonder if Horntail/Chaos Horntail will finally drop items without the ridiculous restrictions.

63b HP of Empress in 30mins.. does this signal an end to majority of Emp soloers?

that's twice Empress HP with timer reduced to half... essentially 4x damage output is required to kill Empress Confused

legit ones at least.

and the whole thing is instanced now, it's kinda what i wanted most, but still ._. i ain't soloing empress anytime soon after those changes, hopefully the knights are weak to boss damage as they should now.

That's still going to be a problem since V2s were buffed and you need to get her down to 50% HP IIRC to get her to summon. On top of this you'll need to last long enough through her Dark Genesis+pot cooldown- probably best to just find parties, if your party can bind/crash indefinitely you'll all stand a much higher chance of winning.

i remember differently, she still summoned after 1 bil-ish hp had been taken down.
i have no problems with HP, the dark gen-tornado combo is what freaks me out (or bomb-dark gen)
