How was your day?
I've been busy all week and will probably continue to be so until Summer Vacation which is the week after this.

Living the college life. Sad

Pretty warm day. Spent it with a ton of people and was shooting people with a water gun.

People say I'm becoming more Black every day lol

Spent the day with my best friend, and went to a party that night with her and a few others.
Tomorrow, I'll be teaching my dad how to use skype (so he can keep in contact with me).
Monday, lunch with my aunt and packing!

Tuesday, my flight is at 7:10am and I arrive in Victoria at 1:10, from which my lovely boyfriend will pick me up from the airport.
I'm so happy/excited Heart

Went out to see a movie and somehow ended up in a limo driving around the city.

I was in Manhattan yesterday and planned on leaving at like 3-4 after seeing a friend, except seeing a friend turned into partying with them all night and me getting back home at 2 PM today. But it was fabulous and I'm glad I did it, even if I spent like $60 on drinks last night.

Update on Oxygen Cross Section trends at low energies (<7 MeV):

The whole premise so far has been that some data sets were off by 3.15%, and at 3.5 MeV, that percentage was perfect. I plotted and evaluated at 4 MeV today, and found there was a ~6.8% difference. Definitely not 3.15%.

Long story short, I ended up suggesting the data was off by a fixed amount instead of a percentage. Normalized the data to account for the fixed number (92.6 mb), plotted them against the other data, and well.. see for yourself:

Life is a never ending mountain of work. The more I work, the further behind I feel.

Look behind you to see all the piles of dirt to reflect how far you've gotten.

That's very impressive. I wish I had the insight to actually suggest things rather than passively take them in. Cool stuff you're doing.

Got a letter in the post. The government done goofed on my taxes last year, so they are giving me a rather large tax rebate. Lots of money out of nowhere, yay!

I love days like this. Worked, checked on my friends new kitted at her apartment then worked some more. After work, I hung out with the girl Iam trying to date and took her to check in on the kitten for a second time. Her squeals of enjoyment over how cute the kitten is made me smile inside and out!

After that, I gave her and another friend home because their ride (their roommate) ditched them, so we hung out around town, went to the beach and went on the swings, all the while me and the girl I want to date were messing around with each other, and my other friend just kept saying "you two are made for each other". I love our friend for saying that Biggrin

My mum outed me to my brother by accident. He was ok with it, but really surprised.

And my brother surprised me, he's got a girlfriend now, and this sunday we are all meeting up so she can meet us as a family, weird!
He's being really secretive about something, which seems to be because (I think) she's foreign, and is going home for the summer, and he is going to tell my parents he is going with her to meet her family. things are looking pretty serious.

Looking forward to meeting her regardless. I really want them to get married and have babies so I can be an uncle and have a sister. hehe, so exciting.

So last week I asked one of my classmates to hand in one of my sheets to the teacher since I wouldn't be there for the day.
Today he tells me "YO BRO I DIDN'T HAND IT IN YO". I ask why and his response is "I WASN'T DONE"
what the hell.
