But hey! If I was your goal to pass and you did it, then that's cool . Darn, though. If I was the level for Pirate PQ quests and had done a ton of other event quests, I'd be a lot higher now.

This came from SW, but just a note to everyone...

Making the Secret Medicine for Transformation doesn't count unless its in your in-progress. The reason for this is that I count it because some people who HT on a regular basis keep that quest pulled out so they can see the Manon's Cry. However, even if they pull it out, the quest will not jump out to the "available" section. By having it there, the person just told me that he didn't complete it.

Hence why these quests are called "Active Completed Quests"...

Well yea, but are there other quests for 100-? Because I'm wondering, like others have these last few pages, how some people are posting with like 76 Mu Lung/Nihal Desert quests done while us 4th jobbers have like 67.

You probably didn't do any of the re-acquiring quests. I only did three of them and I have 71. I'm pretty sure there's more that I didn't do, such as re-acquiring Dran's notes (before you complete the whole quest chain), after you pick it up from the book, after you talk to phyllia, re-acquiring the stones for the Dark Magician, ect. There's a lot I didn't try but I'm pretty sure my quests would be >76 if I tried dropping everything I got from the quests.

Also, I find it hard to believe that a level 100- would have more quests than you considering they don't even have any job quests.

PPQ has roughly 5~ or so quests 100- some of which are

- Defeat angry lord pirate
- Defeat enraged lord pirate
- Quest from pirate guy in lith

First 2 might be a combo into one quest. I don't recall all of them but those are at least some.

And diary pages for opq but i don't think those fall in the same category.

PPQ ones that I recall:

Defeat all 3 forms of Lord Pirate
Collect 5 Map Pieces from chests in the PQ (Lith guy)
Collect x ginseng packets (yellow from monsters/chests, red from monsters in a side room)
Defeat dedicated krus/captains (located in a side room)

There might be a 5th one that I'm unaware of, but I'm sure of those 4. :X

No you can do them right away but if you do them and want to do them again you'll have to wait 3 days.

No. It shows up immediately after you drop the item, but after you complete the quest, you have to wait three days before you can redo it. For example:

if you drop the Zem Cape...
you redo the quest
drop the Zem Cape again

You must wait 3 days before you can regain your Zem Cape.

I've finished all the Magatia quest and turned in De Lang's notes and what you guys said I can't start the quest upon dropping my capes ._.

Simsands of SW got the same glitch too. Unfortunately, if you finish all your Magatia quests, it won't let you initiate the Re-Acquiring the Cape quests. =(

Whatever. Being on the list is great, and I'll work to stay on because I enjoy questing, but in the end MapleStory =/= life, so meh.

That's impossible at the moment because there aren't even that many quests released on GMS.

You might want to note that you cannot complete the quests if you've done all the Magatia quests. It would be good to allow people to know that they must not have done all quests.

it counts subquests, not full quests. Even my level 55 infighter in KMS had 466 using this method (for example, the roly poly photographing quest counts as 11, Alcaster I think is almost 20) So yeah, everyone listed here will probably be able to get the medal immediately.

You can get it from an NPC. Don't expect to get these medals easy.

1st box: Condition: Make a donation
2nd box: Condition: Defeat 100,000 monsters, their level must be higher than yours.
3rd box: Condition: Stay logged on for 3 hours each day for 27 days.
4th box: Condition: Requires you to have 1000 Fame
5th box: Condition: Complete 800 quests.
6th box: Condition: You must achieve 5 S-ranks.

K, to clarify, it's not to HAVE 1000 fame, it's to OBTAIN 1000 fame in a month. Good luck getting 33~34 fame per day for 30 days!

It tells you how far you are in a chain quest.

1. Doesn't count.
2. Doesn't count.
3. The only applicable PQ on here.
4. Doesn't count.

The ONLY PQs which count for this are the ones that have unique map icons:
Henesys (10+)
Ariant Coliseum (20-30)
Kerning (21-30)
Monster Carnival (30-50)
Ludibrium (NOT Maze, 35-50)
Orbis (51-70)
Magatia (71-85)
Herb Town (55-100)
Elin Forest (45-55)

You can see where the problem is here, then. Ariant Coliseum and Monster Carnival take WAYYYYY more completed PQs than the others to get an S, so they're not really good for this.

Heck, even someone at 51 barely has enough options. If you are level 51 the day they implemented this, then you could do OPQ/MPQ/PPQ/EPQ/HPQ. heck, it's not just 71+ who are screwed over by this, anyone over 55 is in trouble.

Also, when you equip the Medal that you get on this system, like some people may know, it shows a third name (Down the Guild Name):

These are Medals. They show that you did something worth getting a medal for, not doing something worthless. They're supposed to be hard. Horned Tail and Pink Bean both drop medals, too, so it isn't hopeless for 160+ people.
