Hackers and .wz files and ore hacks : Potential Economic meltdown?

So I heard from another maple site I frequent that there's a new .wz hack that the hacker geniuses have found.
Basically, it's called ore hack. I won't go into specifics, but basically the edit the .wz files to abuse the jump quest rewards.
They can get like, 500 ores a second, gold/diamond/dark crystal.
Meaning, they can get like a whole inventory worth of those ores in 1 minute.

Why do we care? Why does it matter? Ores, no one needs those.

Maybe. But the thing is, they may be able to manipulate this hack to go to other quests. Such as scroll quests that give 60% Glove attack etc. OR maybe that quest that gives the napoleon cape. Heck, anything that is a quest reward is possible I think.

I just clicked on Pink Viola (repeatable for ores), give me my ores please". This is limited basically to the repeatable ore quests, as I can't recall anything else like it. It's harsh, it's a tragedy for the maker skill, but it won't spread to scrolls.

Mass ores wouldn't cause an "economic meltdown". However, those china farmers that used to/still do hack paypal for NX to gachapon with, that could be a problem...

Actually, it's not even that. They don't even need to go through the JQ. They just talk to the NPC and mass ores.

hmm this must be the same thing that people in the xmas pq were talking about but it translated into mass amounts of exp..... I was seeing people doing the pq at lvl 6X and then seeing them again at 7X later on and 8X the next day....

with a decent team cross can be taken down in seconds then the hack is applied and wham millions of exp (i have yet to see it in person but i know people that have and boy were they surprised....)

Yup, I saw the same thing months ago. Like back in March of this year... When I saw people with obvious hacker names like "llllllllllll" or "VWVWWWVV" or "2xxvwv11323llllllxx" in Ellinia and Sleepywood constantly spawning and disappearing in the air all over the map for days and days I had started asking and asking, sloothing and such. Basically I found out that they just farm the JQ ores 24/7. They've been doing this since before March when I first saw them so if this were to create an "economic meltdown" it would've happened by now. When Maker Skill comes out, all ore and plate prices are gonna rise, the only difference is all the people that have been farming ores for months with hacks are gonna be richer than you. (More than they already are now) We'll see when it comes...

Like I said, it's a lot more efficient (I'd say 5 times more) than that, and there's already bots etc for it.

I'd imagine it would take about 3 minutes to fill your entire ETC with ores.

Stop posting stupid ideas and excuses. THIS^^^^^^^^^^^^^ is the truth.

You forget to add the leech fags, who pay NX to Bishes, and get 150.000 EXP per minute at 1x exp rates, double that on 2x exp... nothing destroys the game more then they do.... Oh wait, it's already destroyed... :')

worst part of this is 500 ores times 24 (i think for slots) which is 12000, now assume a total worth of all the ores collected (averaged to one price) is about 400 meso each (black crystals are worth more) so then, 400 time 12000 is just shy of 5 mil meso from npcing the ores, a nice amount for the time that goes into it, but you could use the hacks available for a better pull of meso and items by using the vac+invinc+auto loot hacks, still, a sad fact for maple ~_~

This isn't really old, this just happened today, and it isn't skipping the jump quest. The hacker doesn't even need to enter the jump quest at all. and it's over 10x faster than the ellinia hackers.

I think the DEX/LUK/Wisdom/STR crystals are going to be worth more anyway, for the Maker skill, and you can't get those from anything except training.

Yup, and even if you guys say this variation is "new" and faster, it doesn't change the fact that there were already hackers doing this, so there was already a huge number of ores being forced into the market.

In windia at least, all the black crystal ores were 100k each right after that event that had the boxes and NX which gave mass amounts of taos. Wait less than one week and there are dozens of shops that have thousands of ores for 1k each... having been to sleepywood myself to see this thing happen, it was pretty obvious what the cause was. This was before this patch and this assumed "new" version.

It won't really affect the economy that much as ores have already been screwed, but when it comes to those hackers who run meso selling sites, there might be a problem since this would make it far too easy without increased risk from being at training spots.

Get thousands of ores, sell them in the FM, buy rare items, sell in MTS, expand inventory, repeat until until you've got 100 slots. Farm, NPC, farm, NPC...
10,000* ores a minute? If it's Black Crystal or something, that's 30m mesos from NPC. Yea, I'd say this could caue problems.
