Question about item colors after scrolling

Hey guys! First off I'd like to say that I wasn't sure if this would go in the Newbie section of the forums or the general section, so I put this thread here. Now, a simple question; How many stats *WA, AP, Auxillary* does an item have to be above avg. to change colors from blue to purple? =] I ask this because last night I bought a 69 attack Steelno *Lv. 80 Knuckle* and so far, I have 2 60%'s on it. The stats are 73/2 with 5 slots. I was just wondering how many more stats I need for it to be purple!

Blue to purple is ~23 stats and is 1:1 for anything except hp & mp. So Knuckle scrolls will add 8 (10%/30%) or 3 (60%/70%).

Since it was 3 above average you need 14 more stats to make it 23.

That's a chinchilla, not a rabbit .

Color means crap, anyways. A 21 attack brown work glove would still be blue. Don't let the color of the weapon define your...um...scrolling. True, it is good to a certain extent...but otherwise, no.

its not that hard to make purple things. my skis are purple and they arent even close to godly.

Grey: < 0
White/Orange: 0 - 5
Blue: 6 - 22
Purple: 23 - 39
Gold: 40 +

Each stat counts for 1, except for HP/MP, which takes 10 to count as 1.
