I opened the 450 i had saved and got no empress, got 56 coins at least :/

I'm sorry but overall this makes me happy.
It sucks for you, yes...however seeing as going to empress is one of the few ways to make quick, decent money, I'd rather not have the items deflate any more.

Old boxes and new boxes stack. They're the same box. Empress equips are simply that rare.

I doubt it, someone from the previous page got a mage Empress hat and I just went back to Max's blog on the subject: Someone posted that they got only one Empress equip during the entire event.

In short, they're really damned rare.

Well, it looks like they messed up a bit on resetting on some people's SP.
My wind archer didn't get turned into a phantom from the hack, but the SP on it...

I call 4 extra hours of 2x events and hot time compensation with crappy rewards!

I barely just finished adding SP to some of my remaining link skill/deck mules a week ago from last reset.... thank you Nexon, always so thoughtful.

Despite Empress equips not being common from boxes, in a panic everyone has decided to deflate everything anyway.

Kind of sad really, I was planning on getting an Empress set in Renegades but I won't be able to now.
