Super 8th Mapleversary GM Events!

May is Mapleversary month, and on May 11th, we officially celebrate 8 years of MapleStory! To show how much this day means to us, in addition to the 24 hour 2x EXP & Drop Event and the Hot Weekend, we'll be running GM events on each world.

-What & Where-

Game Masters will be running special event map quests, as well as monster summons, from 11 AM to 8 PM Pacific (2 PM - 11 PM Eastern) on Saturday, May 11th! Furthermore, GMs will be randomly showing up in each world throughout the month of May, so pay close attention to any blue [Notice] text in your chat window! All events will be on Channel 8 unless specified otherwise.

@DavyJonesx We are running the old event maps (albeit a bit clumsily), not playing omok/scratchcards.

They're special maps that only GM's can teleport to. They're probably just going to be doing the typical fitness test, but if stuff like Ola Ola still works I hope we see that.

Yep, the GM's usually give you a gift the next day though, kind of like how hot times give you boxes and stuff.

My computer could never handle GM events back when Maple didn't lag, so I'll have to skip these events. I hope everyone who does join in has fun though.

edit: I had to run into fm for ~2min to make a really good deal so if I missed the time frame that's okay :p

No, the event NPCs don't work, so we're giving out rewards manually.

Also, we're giving out participation rewards, which the quest NPCs never did...so there's that!
