Hellbanned..

Well if people are getting hellbanned because of their contact with exploited mesos, then it really shows how widespread this problem has become. If tons of players are now being investigated, I do not understand why a rollback would not have made more sense. Now instead of just fixing the problem and compensating us, Nexon has to waste their time trying to super glue their wooden house back together after a meterorite just blew it to smithereens. What a shame.

Which might have been acceptable if Nexon had a 100% rate of deleting all the items involved but then no-boom AEES and Tyrants say hello, is there any legit that was insane enough to enhance theirs to +15? All this does is to extend the agony of pretty much everyone who's somewhat active.

I have over 40m and I wasn't hellbanned. Phew!

You answered your own question, I thought the same way at first, but if it is as widespread as going back more than just this past weekend, when it was released publicly, then they couldn't really justify a week, maybe two, maybe more rollback. I only assume this from the fact that people that haven't sold this past weekend are banned.

Sure, they could have simply rolled back to Friday as I had suggested and the community would be up in arms but eventually understanding, and everyone would have given them a light pat on the back blissfully unaware of all the items and/or mesos that were missed. Instead, if they really wanted to clean things up, which I applaud them for, they might have to look back farther in time leading to all these hellbans.

Of course, if the problem isn't that systemic or long-reaching in terms of time and they just applied the banhammer liberally, then to that I must shake my fist. I don't like giving them the benefit of the doubt much still preferring the rollback a little more, but if that second paragraph is the case, I'd really like them to come out and say it. If you operate in a vacuum, you allow whatever rumors to fill it.

Didn't get hellbanned. Only trade i did was between 1 person for leaves.
Oh well, not like I was planning to do anything except try and get a few boxes/anniversary coins.

I've been trade blocked twice, rankings are restored when it's lifted. :B Ticket if they aren't.

Oh, I forgot, its possible to be hellbaned if you bought any of those exploited mounts and whatever else that was flying around. Friend got hellbanned that way, and I was even paying him 8bil mesos for things before so its not just the mesos.

I'll be honest, at least the maintenance didn't last the whole day in it's entirety...but 12 hours? ...I guess.

Are you sure? I got the box on the same character and it won't let me open it saying "Make sure you have at least 1 slot open in the use and equip section" when I clearly have more than 3 of each o_O

Not hellbanned, probably because I stopped playing Maple back in March, so I avoided everything that happened between then and late April.

Regardless, that rollback is looking mighty fine right about now.

I thought that most of the damage happened over this weekend, specifically yesterday so I was assuming that a 24~ rollback would have solved a lot of the problems. Then again, I'm not hellbanned, so I'll stop complaining. This does seem like real cluster f'uck of a situation no matter how you look at it though.
