That is a weird hack. How come GMS is always affected by these hackers and their hacks. Other than patching the hacks, what else does the NA team do?

I've seen some crazy hacks in KMS but not this one lol. If this was KMS: players find out > post on communities/blogs > curse at Nexon > Nexon immediately acts and carries out an emergency maintenance > everything is back to normal > an apology is posted on the homepage > compensation given to everyone.

Even JMS does this. The one time duping happened in JMS, there was a roll back within a day or two and a weekend of 2X EXP and I think 3 days of NX extensions (Gave me 4X for a weekend ROFL, it was right after EXP cards were removed and mine should have expired before the weekend).

I doubt it. Perhaps that might happen to the affected people but I think an NPC could be made to revert people to their original jobs with a click or they could just gather all the affected parties and change them back.

Except how do they know who is effected, and what job they were beforehand? If it's completely changing your class I doubt there are many remnants outside of backups, and I HIGHLY doubt Nexon would choose manually checking every single character over just rolling back everyone and giving some monetary, essentially costless compensation for the rollback. It would take a lot of time to individually change everyone, while a rollback is a quick(in comparison) server maintenance and backup load.
