Well, I figured if it was thanks to her she reported it to the IT dept. That is, if it was her, maybe they got a new half-way decent programmer, who knows.

I figure she sees stuff over here that bears interest and then reports it to the proper depts at Nexon HQ. I dunno.

Maybe we have Girasol to thank for this. (Browse some thread at some time where someone complained about servers being all over the place) If so hopefully she reports the Gaga/Maple Admin/Cassy problem and maybe it'll get fixed.

The way channel servers are split among physical machines is hardly a bug that went unnoticed until people here commented on it. It's something they did on purpose, based on the different capacities of their machines (some older or weaker than others) and the loads on the different channels (channel 1 most crowded, etc).
They changed it now for their own reasons, not to make us happy. We have no way of knowing whether these tidier numbers are actually better for load balancing, and if they changed it just because someone here commented on the "servers being all over the place", they would be stupid.

Scania's channel population continues to grow every day, and the resulting lag is irritating to say the least.



I'm waiting for Scania to crash at any time.

What the hell is with the servers today?

I tried to log in with Steam for like 10 minutes, kept getting login errors.
Finally manage to put my password in and log in, and then the game launcher becomes unresponsive and crashes, meaning I have to log in via steam AGAIN.
Then the game finally loads up. I select a channel, input my PIC and the game doesn't respond, and then sends me back to the world select saying unable to connect to the login server.
I try to log in again and this time it works, I was in the game for less than a minute before the client crashed and closed down.

Just wow, the server instability recently is just insane. I can't afk for 5 minutes without my client closing down

EDIT: Tried logging in again. got sent back to the world select screen again after logging into a character, then my client crashed after leaving the cash shop. meaning I have to go through this all again.

it isn't even worth attempting to log in. This is too much effort.

EDIT EDIT: Right, definitely not worth it. Just attempted to log in again. Didn't even get past the world select screen this time. the world select screen was completely blank.

I regret deciding to reside in Scania then.

Server status page says everything is up, but I'm getting the "server check or firewall" message.
Nexon's server status page says the maintenance is still ongoing.
Is anyone able to log in, or is our status checker overly optimistic tonight?

I guess its getting optimistic. I looked up some other server status sites and one of those says that the log-in page is still offline, though, all other servers are online.
Expect them to be ready very soon.

The last maintenance changed the login server IP, all the channels are flashing between up/lagging/down but the login server is still down. I expect the game will be up within 30-45 minutes or so.

They're all on the same machine, so that bodes poorly for that poor fella.

Yup, login server is up but all the channels are crashing.

Getting a little tired of crashing every other... 5-10 min. Nearly couldn't complete Hilla.

It's only certain channels, seems to be mostly channels 1-4 and 18/19.

1-4 only went out on allianced worlds?

This is a mighty long crash for Ch 1-4 in the allied worlds. Not complaining, but it would be totally awesome and cool if we could have Ch 1 Free Market doing its thing again
