Don't those only protect your equip when you're scrolling it and not reverse anything? If you're referring to the Perfect Innocence scroll it unfortunately does reverse all of the slots.

The description is a bit unclear, but I tend to believe you can't use them to recover a slot that was lost before you had the Return Scroll applied (or at least in your inventory).

Does anyone know whether Return scrolls are used like Pam's Song (after the scrolling) or like all other type of protector (applied to the item before scrolling)?
