Not sure if this was posted anywhere yet, This seems like the best thread to put it in.
My opinion, (Big wall of text)
Spoiler
1. Benefiting from hackers
What does that mean?
It means leeching from a hacker, training in a map that has been "glitched" to have more mobs, looting from a hacker and kill stealing a hacker. No glitched maps? Does that mean I can't train at LHC at all because most of the maps are glitched?
If you have done any of the following, you are at risk of getting banned.
What can I do to avoid it?
1. Do not train in a map that has visibly more mobs than another map; Right, don't train at LHC then.
2. Do not "AFK" while in a map (namely Lionking Castle or Stronghold), the leader of the party can (and probably will) invite a hacker into the party to go faster; What if I have to change my baby or I need to go to the bathroom? That's kind of stupid telling someone "not to afk" or you have the chance to be banned.
3. Do not knowingly train in a map that has a hacker in it; What if the hacker kses me? Am I shit out of luck?
4. If you see a hacker in a map, "vac hacking", do not kill steal their mobs; Obvious
5. If you see a hacker in a map, "vac hacking", do not pick up their drops; Obvious
6. Do not buy hacked items. PLEASE inform yourselves before buying an item that you might think is all right to buy. For example, any Cash Shop items, always be careful when buying those. Any item can be duped, godly or not, there's no indication that something can be duped (it probably is for most items in the FM. 99% of the godly items are made by duped scrolls, or are duped themselves)
2. Foul language
I think this one speaks for itself.
The Game Masters have been getting stricter about the language in-game. We encourage the players to keep a clean language as to not disrupt and/or offend other players. Obvious
3. Merchandising
Selling/buying Nexon Cash with mesos (or vice versa) has always been against the Terms of Use. It is no wonder that you might get banned from this.
To avoid this, we suggest not to participate in an exchange of Nexon Cash for mesos or mesos for Nexon Cash. Again, obvious but everyone does it. They ban one person for this, they're going to ban 60% of the game.
This also includes selling in-game items for real money or Nexon Cash or, again, vice versa. As well as account selling.

Justin Is it Lumis using reflect?
I'm not saying they don't know about the glitch. But Nexon's always been on and off about banning. Sometimes they ignore the most obvious things, other times they ban you for a hacker buying something from your store. I figured this might be another one of those times. Based on the fact that lumis are being targeted too I feel like this is Nexon not understanding the mechanics of a new class. I wouldn't surprise me if someone saw reflection and thought it was some sort of a hack, it does have crazy range. I really hope Nexon at least announces who or why they were trying to ban because it just seems like a clusterf'uck right now.
I guess i'm going to get banned one day for kill stealing hackers and their leecher parties' map at LHC even though i'm at level cap and gain nothing from it aside from laughs lol.

Out of curiosity, since people have mentioned it like 10 times in this thread, what is the stack hack? I haven't been keeping up with GMS's problems.
As for the bannings: Chances are it's either an autoban bot that wasn't modified for what new classes are able to do (which is beyond likely considering what company we're talking about here), or the GMs are even more oblivious than we thought. Second is also just as likely. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if it was both.

Green4Ever Wrote:Basically, it makes mob skills deal way more hits than they should, and they use it in conjunction with No Delay, which is how they're able to kill anything with ease on characters that are pretty much stripped.
Darkstars Wrote:The problem here is it's the same argument people had for duped items. "Oh they've been around for so long and Nexon's never said a word." Nexon doesn't have the best communication skills with its player base and they seem to go on sprees every so often with little to no warning. Just because something has been in game and abused for a long time does not mean Nexon won't one day decide it's bannable.
This Kasiers Transfiguration glitch shouldn't be a ban-able offense. Character glitches where they active if you just use the skill how its suppose to be use when unglitched shouldnt be banable. Like when mages had that max line/all 1's glitch. When you can't play your character fully without activing some in class glitch then that should have liability 100% to nexon.
Yes I guess they can decided that but character glitches are much different from other glitches.

I completely agree. It shouldn't be a bannable offence. But my opinion on this matter means jack squat if Nexon's deciding it's bannable.
I've been unbanned for a couple weeks now, but am still afraid to do much on my main account. I got banned for 30 days while training Luminous in a small party in drill hall just before Christmas. (This was the type of autoban that gave no ban message when you tried to log in). I'm still getting frequent lag freezes of up to several seconds, not sure if its my internet or the servers acting up, since the lag freezes mainly happen when I try to loot or pot, not from attacking.
Nexon is in full denial mode that false bans/autobans happen. Last time I checked the Nexon forums they were locking any false ban threads on sight.
Perhaps we should share other ideas on how to avoid unjust autobans (other than the obvious stuff -don't party with hackers etc).
1- If the game freezes, DO NOT keep attacking or move around a lot. Wait until the mobs begin to move again.
2- Do not use the teleport-to-random-place skill that a few classes have. Looks too much like a hack, and careless GMs might ban. I get nervous even using the hidden map portals like in some ToT maps.
3- Do not afk for long periods on any map with mobs, especially one where hackers come around. Go back to town. (Though autobans have been known to happen afk-ing even in maps with no mobs.)
4- If you are getting a lot of lag and can do so without problem, CC every couple minutes. Going in and out of portals may work too, not sure, but bots seem to do that a lot. I'm guessing CC-ing resets some suspicious event counter, which if you go over awards an autoban.
Yeah, I know its stupid that non-hackers have to try these things to avoid autobans, meanwhile bots can run for months without problems.
Anyone have some more ideas?
