I had a pomegranate today

And it taste great! Why I made a thread about it....mostly because I first heard about that fruit from this site.

I think this is slightly more shenanigan material and slightly less speakesy.
Regardless, pomegranates are yummie. I love them in desserts.

Also, just in case anyone isn't aware of an easy and mess-free way to get the seeds:

Fill a large bowl with water, cut the top off the pomagranate, place it in the water and continue to peel it/peel off the seeds.
The seeds will sink and the skin will float to the top

Not grapefruit sour, its a bit more tame. I cant really stand to eat the fruit, but I love the juice. There are too many seeds for me to enjoy the fruit ;~;

It's definitely not that sour. If I were to compare it to something else, I would think of it as a sort of mix between a strawberry and a raspberry in terms of flavor (mostly tangy but mildly sweet). Pomegranate juice can taste sour, though, just because stuff like POM's so concentrated that you're supposed to mix it with something else.

I feel the same way. Apparently the seeds (core) are edible, but i cant stand trying to eat them.

the seeds were in there to make one of the best fruits possible to less of a good one. its blocking people from good juice(pomegranate personally is my preference juice to mix in punches/smoothies etc albeit its expensive because of the deseeding process)

Nope, the entire thing is the fruit.
The pomegranate arils/seeds is what most people eat though and use for food.

thats what i meant. [MENTION=5555]Zelkova[/MENTION]; said there were too many seeds to actually enjoy the fruit but the seeds are the part of the fruit you are supposed to enjoy o_o.
