Unscheduled Server Maintenance - December 17, 2012

Was last here at about 3:45PM EST and now get home from work at 11PM EST and it's still down, well I can't say I'm surprised.

It hasn't technically been down all day. The patch ended, but there were login issues from the get go. Wasn't actually brought down until a few hours ago.

This manteinance has been for at least 8 hours, plus the unlocky majority that couldn't log in (me included) since the patch.

I wouldn't be so annoyed if they at least gave us an estimated time.

Although this log in issue is pretty serious, it's puzzling to see so many concurrent users and guests on this thread... something I only see on the latest extraction.

Maybe they're all waiting for something (@Nexon hint hint).

Only reason I'm here really (this thread), waiting for someone to say it's up or something, lol.

I lack the ability to keep track of time very well. Last thing I knew it was noon and I was just starting the cleaning and typeset on a chapter of something. Then it was 9pm.

It's just so depressing. I was so excited to play Kaiser today. I was so excited to explore new areas and test out the hyper skills. Heck, I was ready to get my Tempest coin on. But this whole server issue... from 9:30 AM... made it disappear. With no sign of revitalization in sight.

Suddenly, I'm starting to have flashbacks from almost exactly a year ago...

Now this is something that it should concer a few ones.
Not only with the players who had to lie but the ones who are still here waiting anxiously for the server to come up.
Probably there are only a few guys left in the building (judging by the time AND the fact that they probably just stood up all night when the patch came), so knowing this there's a low chance that the game will be up tonight and Nexon should at LEAST say it won't be today so people just stop to be here waiting for it (I'm including myself on this last part).

I literally woke up, went to work, picked my little sister up from school, mysteriously lost 5 hours of time from my memory, and the game is still not up. This almost reminds me of Leafre and fourth job.

The Westboro Church would claim that your faking of being sick is the reason the game has been down all day! God is unhappy with your deceit.

Personally I prefer it when they don't pretend to know how long they'll be taking.
If they say "back in two hours", I check back in two hous to see "one more hour, guys", and then "just one more, sorry" after that, and so on.
This way I can at least check back thinking "are they done yet?" instead of "gog dammit they said they'd be done".
