Same here but it was before they brought it down the first time today.

While I was on earlier I got the prize for opening 50Santa boxes, surprised me a bit as I did not expect them to keep track of that until today. Monocle

I don't get it. At first the servers were okay (give or take a few attempted log ins) after the initial maintenance. Then the game was brought back down and became utterly unplayable afterwards. So much so that it's not even fixed yet.

So much for stepping up their game. Rolleyes

*Goes to the gym early because Maple is down, comes back and it's still down*

Well at least I accomplished something. Guess I'll just have to study for next semester now too. Stupid Nexon forcing me to be responsible Rolleyes.

Since Notify is a bot, do you think we can subscribe to a mailing list to get notified whenever the SC is finished? I imagine it shouldn't take too much of your time. False positives are okay with me, so long as the USC notice gets edited to [Finished].

I'm asking because I noticed Notify reposting the same posting when it gets edited.

They call it "[Complete]". And they don't always edit either the title or the text to say it.
I haven't noticed whether there's a tweet when Notify posts an update?

I suppose false negatives are also okay with me. It's just something I think is easy to automate, and I have things to step away from the computer for.

I think Nexon's definition of the word "shortly" differs from mine a bit.

the servers are down for an unscheduled server maintenance every time i try to play maple again after a new patch... and then i get even more distracted from what i need to do because i keep checking back to see if the servers are back up.

I just hope that they fix it and don't throw away more time like they did with that other hour and a half maintenance. Over the 11 hours I've been awake for the Kaiser launch all I managed to do was level to 40. If I hadn't changed my sleep schedule I could have just logged on late at night to avoid the hassle of competing with people and gotten the same amount done in less than 2 hours, without all of this server instability nonsense.

Think of it this way: at least you GOT to be online to get to 40. A shitton of people couldn't even log in to patch. So while you're pissed off having only been able to play for a couple of hours, you have a lot more people who were pissed off not being able to play at all.

It's ok guys. They'll sweep up their endless incompetence with an impending 2x "we apologize" event.
