Scheduled Game Update - December 16, 2012

Can anyone help me out? My gamelauncher just stopped working. I can launch the ad page with the "play" button in the lower right, but after that I don't get the hackshield loading and the game gives me the message of "Cannot connect to server would you liek to try the website?" like there's a server check going on. Any help is appreciated. It worked fine yesterday o_o

Try reading the thread next time? No one can log in right now.

We've all been complaining about the same thing for the past 3.5 hours, since the unscheduled maintenance that was supposed to fix it ended.

More specifically, mine happened BEFORE teh initial check. Does anyone know if it happened before this patch? I was training my luminous and CC'd to get the stupid santa clause quest and fame a random person when maple closed and dc'd me :C

It happened like 2 times before everything went down if you're referring to early morning.

I think those who are online clicked start game as soon as the SC ended, then a couple of minutes after that, everyone else who tried to do that were unable to log in. Other than being unable to log in, I didn't have any lag issues in the morning so there is no reason to dc unless you are unlucky/your PC has problems with maple.
Btw, I said 7hours, but I'm not sure when the first SC or the second one ended...still 4-5hours of playtime might be enough for that level.

I was trying to connect constantly from about 11:10am EST to 11:40am EST and never got on, even when people reported servers up. I don't know why some people can connect and most can't but it's a luck thing.

Well... even though I think it'd be nice to have an SS of every level I make, I often forget to do so when I am trying to rush, but here's me at level 100

^Hope that's acceptable, though I've been around since the beginning, I mostly use this forum as a resource for information, rather than socializing.

I would have reached maxed soon enough, obviously this ruined everything. Now, it's w/e, if others really have an advantage over me at this point, I'm still gonna rush 200 as soon as I'm able to get on, but I don't have illusions of being in the top anything this time. I'll always have my top 5 Mihile though...

I assume it's obvious why I'd want to keep my igns hidden. Even though few people cared about Mihile, I still had stalkers gauging my progress compared to their friend, and causing trouble. I only rush warriors, so I'm really disappointed atm, as I've been awaiting this since the very moment I finished with my Mihile...

Lol. I went to take a 5 hour nap and it's still nowhere near starting to get resolved.

There seems to be a lot of server latency problems right now. Has it been like that or are the starting to take things down to fix?
