They're both SNES games with have a semi-limited sound palette
But they do sound eerily similar, even though neither of them share music composers.

It's a similar case with Kid Icarus' theme and Metroid's escape theme.

Which is why that particular part of the escape theme was removed with Metroid : Zero Mission and Metroid Prime 2 : Echoes.

Holy crap the evolving world and the DKC3 song sound wayyyy too similar, I'm surprised that isn't lawsuit material LOL
