Notice of White Scroll Removal

White Scrolls are being removed from the game to balance the economy and eliminate an unintended form of currency for hackers. Permanent, one-time use Shield Scrolls will be given as a replacement to anyone who has White Scrolls. Just log in with the character that you want to receive the Shield Scrolls, talk to Maple Administrator in any town, and select "Receive compensation for White Scroll Removal."

Accounts that were involved with the duplication of White Scrolls will not be compensated. If you receive Shield Scrolls that are not permanent, they will be replaced with permanent Shield Scrolls later.

Though I do wonder how max meso and above trades work now. White Scrolls were pretty stable as a form of currency (when there were no dupes).

No, the goal is very clear: all serious scrolling has to go through cash shop.

But seriously i saw nothing wrong with the untradeable slates that you had to work for. I'm always too lazy to commit to farming them but it's a good event to have.

Earlier in the day when I clicked it after first logging in after the patch. I received 0 shield scrolls, THAT'S RIGHT ZERO! I wasted 3 compensation scrolls to test this, and I clicked a different amount for each one. While I would receive 0 scrolls, it would take one off my record. So say I have 12WS I clicked to exchange 10, it gives me back 0, but there is still 11 leftover. Same thing happens even when I try to exchange only 1 WS. When you clicked it Shinku, it probably gave you 1 day expiration ones (well nexon sure likes to play with their stuff), and now currently I've tried to exchange again at this time, I've received permanent ones. They're really playing with their own stuff as they go throughout the day.
