Well you can stop thinking and read the conveniently posted history and know.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

I did find it but it wasn't a site, it was a program.

One that no longer worked right and was loaded with malware on 80% of the places you could find it.

All I see is an excuse not to announce a server is down or actually know when one is being crashed. I don't think it serves the same purpose, or rather, it shouldn't, than what sp does. If it's a cheap knock up for the same purpose then it's incredibly retarded.

Southperry wasn't the first site with a MS status page lol. Eos advertised his a lot more than other people so it was more well known though, but I've seen one on more than 1 site in the past not to mention the dozens of people who use to/still use the IP's for their private checkers

Haven't advertised ours at all, ever.

Who had one first isn't even relevant.

Poor word choice. You set one up in a larger community of maplers, so more maplers were aware of it.

At the moment of this post, Nexon's status page shows Renegades as all green, and Southperry's page shows it as all red.

And now, on the other hand, Nexon's shows all channels under maintenance, while Southperry correctly shows the login servers down but channel servers up.

I have a feeling that Nexon's will not be reliable for showing when the maintenance is over, either.
