GM owns a player

Factor in that GAZED is not just one server its multiple so 100 is not even a significant amount. You only found 10? Out of all the shops in fm 1-22? It sure is EVERYWHERE! Only the ones that were able to afford buying the duped gear in the mts was able to get it. New maplers that are coming in to play dont have that luxury of getting it. Also with the new wave of duping that was going i havent seen any vss pop in the fm lately. You say not everyone has it but, a significant amount do..What is a significant amount in numbers? 200? Maplestory does not consist of 500 people so why such a dire concern of power balance?

That's because there was no "new wave" of duping.

Drop the VSS conversation, it's going nowhere.

Sup Bomber!!!

Whether or not a new wave of dupes occur or item generated crap

One can suspect some truth in it considering how 15 EE weapons are making an appearance and the ridiculously low prices surrounding Scania's White scrolls and A-Rank nebs.

Wasn't bringing up VSS anymore...Frown i was simply correcting him in the idea of there being a new duping method at some point.

That was because of an exploit as well. It certainly wasn't a dupe.
I suspect the 15 EE weapons was a hack though, but i wouldn't know.

Actually, I checked my Youtube account to see how many unlisted hacker vids I'd uploaded to link in tickets, and noticed that none of them had any views. WELP. So much for that. Does that mean it's all random and I can go back to plain old tickets that won't kill my CPU or whatever? MAYBE.

You could try to submit a ticket about it.
I just submitted a ticket at 1 PM PST about my 3 year old account and by 4 PM, they responded with full details and I got my account back!
Try your luck; see if it works.

Oh, that's what I've been doing. One report a day really doesn't cut it on the days -- more and more frequent -- that I find hacking bots in 10 or more channels in a map I want to hunt or mine at. Last batch of permabans, when I was grousing about how for some reason they'd banned two of the bots I'd reported but not the other eight? That was a video ticket batch. Course, now that I see they haven't been actually looking at the vid, that probably explains why they only banned two.

Ya thats not true, I know I'm going to get a ton of hate for this like the first time but

The account was only logged on by me at one ip address with faked items/meso amounts reported stolen, thought that speedy 3month reply is ground breaking

You do realize that doesn't prove anything. They closed your ticket because of the backlog and rewarded you coupons because they were closing it as a backlog, not because they believed your story.

You should actually read your ticket, lol. What Khaini said is right; They were backlogging tickets that had gone unanswered to so-called "start over," and gave people compensation for them not answering their tickets (I got a 2x coupon and 1k MP and my ticket had nothing to do with being hacked).

So technically, your "issue" was not at all looked into.

Well I recently submitted a ticket and got a reply an hour later. I wanted to get my 3 year old account so I was surprised to see a fast response. Finished within 3 hours or so.

Surprisingly, I was get it back! What happened was that when the "change your password now" popup first appeared on the MapleStory login site, the e-mail associated to the account was an ancient one so I had no idea what the password was. I sent a ticket before and they responded months later with "oh, show us some identification" in which I had to show my birth certificate and whatnot to clarify the stuff. During that time, that was ancient stuff so Nexon was a bit derp.

Recently, I saw a Basil thread about Nexon's fast response so I sent a ticket. I really thought it would take hours for them to respond but the response actually came like an hour later. I didn't realize it until I finished watching my LoL stream that I saw an e-mail from Nexon saying that they responded. Checking it, the GM actually commented saying that they want to know just some information like the account ID, what characters associated, etc etc etc. I commented back and forth and was surprised that every comment from the GM was actually minutes later so the process was even faster.

TLDR: Fast response from the GM.

Congrats!
It seems like Nexon Management finally changes things up. Their process of asking for "What's related to the account?" is very similar to the process that NCSoft uses to help users get back their accounts.

Well I just hope for the best that it really is an improvement. Change is good and by keeping things up, Nexon would surely be accepted by the community.

Time though... Hurt
