There was also a limit on the number of clean slates you could buy per character which is bypassed by making new characters.

Most people doesn't even realize that when the patch came out
It may possibly even be changes they made during their unscheduled maintenance for all I know

I... actually wrote an entire college paper on nexon's terms of service.
You could actually get banned according to their ToS for simply linking your thread.
Here's some fun things from Section 2.2
You may not:
Link to any page of or content on the Site other than the URL located at http://www.nexon.net
Exploit errors in design, features which are not documented and/or bugs to gain access that would otherwise not be available or to obtain any competitive advantage;
Section 2.4.3
2.4.3 The Company has the right to obtain, without notification to you, information from your computer, software, and parts or portions thereof, including, without limitation, your computer's random access memory, video card, central processing unit, hard drive(s) and any other storage devices to assist our efforts in policing users who may develop and/or use "hacks" and/or "cheats" to gain advantage over other users. The information obtained in this Section will only be used for the purpose of identifying persons or entities not in compliance or believed by the Company to not be in compliance with this Agreement and any and all other Company rules, policies, notices and/or agreements.
Big brother is watching.
By playing maple you agree that they can without any limitations access all the data on your hard drive. And you thought origin was bad?
Also, section 1.1 is the best. the last line is great.
''We hereby disclaim any and all responsibility and liability for any unauthorized use of your Account. ''
got hacked? get dunked. we don't have to do pomegranate. it's right there in the ToS.
Also, another gem from section 1.1
'' By signing up for an Account and using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or over and have the right, authority and capacity to enter into this Agreement, or you are the legal age required to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction if that age is greater than 18. ''
That's right. You legally have to be over the age of 18 to sign up for a nexon ID. any younger and you're in violation of the ToS.

It's really very simple.
If you choose to go by the letter of the law (ToS), Nexon can ban you at any time for any reason or no reason at all.
If you want to plead that there's an implicit assumption they won't ban you if you don't break the ToS, then we get into the "common sense" and "fairness" fields - in which it's quite obvious what you were doing was taking advantage of their mistake, which is wrong.
The fact that they let that sort of thing pass before proves nothing. Nexon has changed recently, in case you haven't noticed. And they chose to make an example of you, so people will not be so quick to abuse their faultly design/programming in the future. Tough.

The quest is INDEED documented feature
you have read the ToS well but you have not read my post at all
There was already an argument given that said event is a poor design instead of an error in design.
I will give you proof if you really want it but so far Nexon has yet to announce this event being a glitch or error in design
P. The event was not an "error in design" but a "poor design".
P. Said players therefore did not violate the "error in design" rule stated in the ToS.
C. Said players do not deserve to be banned.

I perfectly know that Nexon has full control of my account in ToS, but does that make their action just? no it doesn't
Does it make me stop complaining about their actions? no it doesn't
Does that stop me from gathering more people to complain? no it doesn't
the ToS didn't state that I don't have the right to complain about their unjust actions, therefore I can complain until they do the just thing.
What's bothering me is that you as an 18+ year didn't understand the usage of logic forms and has to result to troll language like a 7 year old.

Again mods READ THE ARGUMENTS I PROVIDED. What I am doing is something in the grey zone but NOT prohibited by Nexon at all. I am taking advantage of A QUEST. Only after the maintenance I realize there is something wrong with it.
sure you may say 60 home coming coins is a lot, but to me its only a clean slate (I have too much AEE from other quest) which I farmed before by creating jett at average level 13.
P. Because there is no evidence supporting the event being a glitch, players could not have possibly known or guessed that the event could have been a glitch, if it were to be one.
P. Said players acted in a way they thought was in accordance with the ToS.
C. Said players do not deserve to be banned.

You can say alien map is a glitch, ginger ale is a glitch, daily gift is an error in design because ALL OF THEM gives you a consider amount of advantages yet nexon build the thought of them being normal in our eyes. So if the past doesn't mean anything does that mean Nexon can suddenly start banning people who trained at aliens for exploiting glitch?
Well I am sure they can, but its unjust, and people will complain A LOT

Aliens aren't glitched in any shape or form, so they are completely irrelevant to this discussion.
You guys abused an event quest, and Nexon didn't like it. They got rid of the quest, and banned you. Made an EXAMPLE of you. Get. Over. It.
If it's too good to be true, it probably is. As said already, just because players have gotten off scot-free before for abusing events or glitches, that does NOT by any means make it okay to continue to do so, nor should you expect a get out of jail card when you finally get caught.
Take your ban like a man and walk away. You are in the wrong here. Every last person that got caught is. Whether Nexon directly or indirectly said or implied that the event quest was bugged/glitched/whatever doesn't matter. They considered it as such and punished abusers accordingly. When it all boils down, and if you REALLY want to get into the nitty gritty details regarding the ToS, Nexon can ban you for no reason at all. At any time. So that's that.

just to make things clear to you, what makes you think that alien is NOT a glitch, give me reason along with proof.
A lvl 95 monster that gives 3000 exp per kill certainly is too good to be true yet its there.

The difference is that you don't have to go through any unnatural contortions to train at aliens.
You do the quests as they are given to you and you end up in the Alien Base and you kill the mobs there, all normal playing.
Now, if we get another Masteria update, and the quest line and portal to Alien Base disappear, and the only way to get in is be by using a Door from someone left inside from before the patch, then it would be "abuse".
When you have to create and delete characters in order to "farm" an unrepeatable quest, it's pretty clear that's not intended behavior.
You can't "prove" anything is or isn't a glitch, but people with the least bit of common sense know it. You know it. Each and every person I heard talk about farming the 60 coins, even before the first patch that blocked the quest, acted like they were extra smart to be putting one over Nexon. They - you - knew perfectly well that's not how the event was meant to be played, but found a loophole and exploited it with glee. Well, guess what, wannabe lawyer? It doesn't always work.
And as said before, if you're wanting to go by "where does it say" and "letter of the law", there's Nexon's right to ban you for no reason, staring you in the face. They don't have to prove anything. They just have to decide that banning these people, and having them complain and crusade, will eventually be for the good of the game (or rather, for the good of their bottom line).

So is a lvl 70 monster that gives 1325 Exp, aka Twisted Jester. It's not a glitch.
(Jesters have 50k HP, which puts them on par with lvl 90 mobs. Most lvl 90 Mobs give around 1150 Exp. Jesters are still higher than 'normal' in that regard and they are higher than the standard Specialty Dungeon bonus of 10% exp.)

By your logic that rules out sporty party to be an error GOOD JOB.

Like I said its not an encouraged behavior, but it certainly wasn't prohibited like making alternative accounts and making mules.
You can't "prove" anything is or isn't a glitch
you got that right so by common sense we assume everything is working as intended unless stated otherwise.
well that's not how the event was meant to be played
The event was meant to play like that since creation of aran continued with jett
there's Nexon's right to ban you for no reason
Yes and that is why I am asking Nexon whether or not they are using this right or some other violation in the ToS

Thanks for proving my point.
We CONSIDER other cases when trying to decide if things are glitch or not and that is what builds up our common sense in deciding glitch or not.
suddenly cut off other cases and build up a new common sense doesn't happen

The event is
- 4 coins for the gourd breaking (5 minutes and 35 minutes after the hour) - actually they announced this as 3-5, but doesn't seem to ever not be 4.
- 1 coin for Maple Sports Celebration (daily repeatable)
- 1 coin for Chilly Down (30 minutes to complete, repeatable)
- 1 coin for 7 minute mop up (10 minutes repeatable)
- 2x coins on weekends.
There's nothing about 60 coins for every level 10 - more tellingly, they don't count towards 100 coins from the event.

I am confused how does that prove sporty party is an event not working the way it was announced, abusing it to get coins is exploitive.
It's simply not there.
If your trying to prove that this event is not there, so people shouldn't accept it?
If that is the case I can tell you that this particular note is NOT on the website at the release of champion patch despite of the date said on there.
If your trying to prove that this event is not there and they don't count towards 100 coins from the event, so its a bug/error in design?
Again that is very much stretching it

Again that is very much stretching it Stereo listed off the "sanctioned" parts of the event. As I recall, the 60 coins wasn't even on the event notes. (Even before they could have potentially changed it).
The event was there. Whoops. Accepting it on characters that you already have is no biggie. Spam creating characters is abuse because Nexon had already stated that the quest was a glitch. "Oh JETT [... etc.]." That's a different case. They clearly didn't care in that case. Moreover, it was one scroll per JETT versus a noticeable amount of scrolls.
The fact that the 60 coins does not contribute to the 100-coin stamp should be a red flag. Of course, that could mean there's a bug in the count towards 100 or it's a complete flaw.
What you fail to accept is the fact that Nexon said it was not working as intended, and thus it is the law. You can try to throw all sorts of examples, such as Aliens, Jesters, and previous JETT farming. However, those had no sort of "btw, dis aint wurkin rite" announcement.

PROVIDE PROOF
A) where did nexon CONFIRMED it was a glitch or error in design
B) provide proof for people who has done the jett farm before that this quest is ODD BEFORE nexon disabled it
your red flag doesn't really prove or imply anything at all

A)Bug report of nexon removing the event can also indicate the event to be a poor design
Poor design is subjective = everything work as intended and all codes worked fine but its a bad idea example: for class pre revamp
This is supported by Nexon's removal of the quest instead of fixing it since it suggest that there is nothing needs fixing to begin with
B) I want you to give proof for players to see the oddity of sporty party given that players have jett farmed experience
