I think I did it right. :>

I can finally say, "YES I DID SOMETHING RIGHT". I got an 85 (12/14) on a math test (considering my "SCREW THE BOOKS I HATE STUDYING METHOD", that's something). You may think that's bad. Under normal circumstances, it would be. This was an exceptional circumstance, though. I finished the test in FIVE minutes. My two marks off were for check steps, which I did right, but there was a MORE CORRECT way to do it. xd It took the rest of the class 15-30 minutes. Shine

Wouldn't you have rather taken 6 or 7 minutes and gotten 100%?

No, I would've done the check step the same way anyway. I subbed my answers into the equation I made for solving, which was correct, with 0 = 0, but the teacher said to sub into the original equation just in case my equation was incorrect.

For Asians, the only decent grade is 100%. Rolleyes

8 x 7
7+7+7+7+7+7+7+7
7, 14, 21 (remember to carry the 10!), 28, 35 (carry~), 42 (carry!), 49, 56 (carry@@@).

Actually, it was about the quadratic function. :<

Ah, the quadratic function:

x^2 + 0*x - 2 = 0
x^2 = 2
x^2 - 1 = 1
(x+1)(x-1) = 1
x - 1 = 1/(1+x)
x = 1 + 1/(1+x)
then, subsitute x:

I managed to crash Notepad while doing that, grats to me.

...No, it was the equation, my bad. (-b +- sqrt (b**2 - 4ac))/2a.

Pineapple

x^2 + 0*x - 2 = 0
x = sqrt(4*2)/2
x =sqrt(8)/sqrt(4)
x = sqrt(2)

My family's grading system.

A+ = Average.
A = no dinner
B = beaten.
C = Choked/in coma.
D = Dying a slow, painful infection-related death.
F = removed from family.

No wonder my siblings are either insane or dead.

Using that, I would have No Dinner for awhile. A is the maximum grade for my School

Using that I would be in a permanent comma >_>

How did you make the notepad crash? >_>

Calculating the square root of 2 by the continued fraction 1 million times, and then writing it into a text-file which I tried to open with Notepad.

Somehow, my Algebra II teacher always manages to give us quizzes and tests that take almost an hour. Half the class doesn't even finish before the end of the period. o_O That's why I don't even have time to check my work and I get marked off for "careless" mistakes that I couldn't check.

My Asian family doesn't care what grade I get. My parents just care that I try my best.
