What will be unavailable:

• All MapleStory game servers.
  
• The billing system, including prepaid card redemption and credit card charging,will be unavailable from approximately 7:00 AM - 9:30 AM Pacific.
  
• Website login will be unavailable from approximately 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM Pacific.
  

Changes and Updates:

• The game will be updated to v.119; some back-end upgrades will be applied and some bugs will be fixed.
  
• Cash Shop specials ending: Unicorn Pets & Packages and Fusion Anvil.
  

Wonder if this will fix the bug where you can't delete characters that you deleted but were returned by the roll-back at the start of the patch.

I sent a ticket in, and was able to delete after a SC.

I thought the delete character issue was fixed. Friend was able to delete his character :f6:

Anyone hoping for a Halloween update? I'm kinda hoping for one.

I'm not expecting a new Halloween event this year. If anything, we'll get one of the KMS events that they had previously. Or, we'll have a reused event that's already in the data.

I submitted a ticket about it about 2 weeks ago and they just said they had plans for it, and just dropped it after that waiting for an announcement, but it worked!

I think it has to do with trying to battle against private servers. They've changed the wz encryption in v117, and their client encryption in v118. Probably another encryption change in v119.

If I remember correctly from that one MapleStory video about the debate events when it first was mentioned, there was suppose to be a "vote for the donkey or elephant" and then a surprise would come from it.

Maybe it's implementing that?

The maintenance is complete as of 11 AM Pacific (2 PM Eastern). Cash items in your invetories have had their durations extended to cover the amount of time the game was unavailable.
