yes but not all phones(including the s3) have front facing cams that is decent enough to camwhore with, itunes syncing which makes managing music EONS easier and stuff that teenagers actually use, like twitter integration and stuff like that, that is actually easy to use without having to download tons of crap *cough android*

Idk if you've ever even seen S3, but it has a 1.9 MP front-facing camera while iPhone5 has a crappy 1.2 one. Oh btw, Android phones do have preinstalled apps in them and android is actually easy to use too without having to download tons of crap.

seriously, you think i havent tried the camera on the s3 before making that comment ? ive tried the cameras on the s2, one x, 4s, s3 and 4x hd.. the 4s had better cameras on both sides.

Just my 2 cents, but my friends pictures with an S3 using the stock camera app looked way better than the pictures my other friend using an 4S. Hell, the pictures my dad takes with his Galaxy Note look beautiful, and so vibrant.

Not going to buy it.

New phones are usually fun for the first couple of days because you don't rely on muscle memory to navigate it and you really have to learn how to use the phone. Since this model is so similar to the previous one, I would end up getting bored of it within a couple of hours.

That, and I'm not up for renewal, so it would cost around $450 to upgrade.

The new iOS looks spiffy. Can't get enough of it. So many features...

IIRC Apple won their lawsuit case against Samsung for copyright infringement. I haven't been following that, does anyone know the implications from that legal case for phone development? I still use a dinosaur phone. The only reason I dislike the iphone5 is because it runs like four issues of the Wall Street Journal in a given week and is featured on almost every tech blog since it is a fad and generates ad revenue for the former and the latter.

There has been a large amount of patent trolls in the industry lately, I think it's best to just watch with popcorn and hope that the whole system causes a mess making it disappear forever. This is just getting my hopes up though. As for the fake advertising that the Lumia 920 did, yeah that's true that there was a camera in the background but according to Nokia it wasn't to fake it. It isn't the smartest thing to do and everyone seems to be talking about it in a negative tone despite there being an apology. Some publications even released a video to compare it.

I recently bought an iphone 4 straight out, so I have no reason to upgrade to a 5 anytime soon. My phone does what it needs to do.

I agree, however Apple isn't any better. Btw, I read the biggest reason for the fall of their stocks was that they didn't say anything about the price or release date of Lumia 920 when they released it, but can't imagine that scandal making it any better.

What most people are missing is that you don't need an iPhone 5 to use iOS 6.

I don't really notice anything too bad about the new maps. Aside from you can't arrow through segments in a route and it seems to be automatic.

iOS 6 is flawless on 4S for me.
