Ah, true. I was hoping it'd be something like a quiver for Bowmasters that could have weapon potential. Mechanics got some sort of secondary weapon semi recently so I assumed it'd be the same deal.

Warriors and Mages are the only classes that are able to use an alternate weapon though, I think. Having said that, the patch notes only seem to mention Warriors and Mages anyway so you could be right. Also Mihile but nobody cares about Mihile.

I really hope that's not the case. Besides the fact that (explorer) warriors and mages already have two types of weapons each, the game has too many weapons with no effective difference as it is. Our armory needs cleaning, not further cluttering.

(Not that I'm looking forward to recubing my shield).

Daggers vs Claw
Bow vs Crossbow
Gun vs Knuckle

The difference being mages and warriors are the only ones for whom the distinction is virtually meaningless while other classes involve specializing based on the weapon type.

The translations rough though, so until we know more it's anyones guess what they really mean when they say secondary.
