Nexon posted a patch for GMS version 116 upgrade to version 117.
You may download this patch from their official site and begin [thread=13610]creating your pre-patcher[/thread] now.
Extractions and database updates will be forthcoming (if supported)!

-shrugs- There could be a possibility of them ninja'ing an npc or 2 just like jMS did with that red bearded guy or maybe I want too many exclusive contents nowadays.

Yeah, but they've always hyped this sort of thing, I can't recall any exclusive content that wasn't. IIRC even Amoria was hyped, lol.

Lucky that I had to slightly delay the date when I have to disassemble my computer. Computer will be disassembled tomorrow night.

Just an update. This patch is going to take me a really, really long time to do. Nexon changed encryptions (reverted back to very old style encryption), so I have to use a workaround which will make my updating script work correctly since I can't use hashes. This workaround will cause the extraction process to take twice as long.

So I'd say give me at least 2 hours to do this.

Hum. Does this mean that it'll be harder to develop hacks for?

No. It might slow down people who use the repacker, but since it's using an old encryption it won't slow them down much. I reckon it makes absolutely no difference for hacking - neither harder nor easier. The different encryption also doesn't make my job any harder or easier. It's only for this patch that will make it take forever and a day.
